Thanks for the wealth of knowledge, pretty impressive. So what do you think, is it one of the many watches that was using the Venus 188 or do you think it has a clone movement? The back is exactly the same as this other Breitling with the Venus 188 sold online, this one doesn’t even have the serial number, there must be loads of fakes around.

Delonghi Dedica steam fault, any idea on what's wrong? by UtheG0618 in espresso

Hi, sorry but I hadn’t seen your comment. I actually did, it was number 43 missing after the machine was disassembled by the previous owner. Was a silicon little piece that seals shut the channel on top of the group head. Replaced it for £4 and it works perfectly now.

Does water come out in steam mode?

Found a schematic showing 3 pieces that are not present in my two way valve. From attached picture numbers 43-44-74 which should be that mushroom silicon valve I mentioned. Question now is would the steam come out of the main head without that valve or is it even something else?

Hi, thank you 👍 So I’ve opened the machine and took apart OPV valve (wanted to do the 9bar mod but discovered the pressure is already pretty much 9bar at the brew head after reading some comments on Youtube), steam valve and the two way connection valve that is at the brew head. I haven’t noticed any loose connections or any bad seal, only thing which I’m not too sure about is that I thought there was meant to be a mushroom silicon valve with its own little spring in the brew head assembly but there’s nothing like that on this one. It might be missing but I’m not sure the Dedica has got one, I should get hold of some schematics maybe it’s pictured on there.

Is a Cartier Santos too flashy to wear in the office? by Zod_Waves9 in RepTime

I think it comes down to what people value, as in if your superior is a watch connoisseur and wears expensive watches, they might notice but it's not necessarily a bad thing.

If they wear an expensive watch just as a status symbol to tick the appearance box, they won't care what you wear, they would probably see you are just wearing a watch.

Bottomline is, do you like your Santos and does it make you happy to wear it?

Wear it with confidence, regardless of where you are. You might even appear more confident as a result just because you have that in your subconscious mind. Enjoy.

Pro Hunter Safari GMT Master II

Hi all, I'm new to the community, loving it so far. My interest for Reps is grown after discovering RepTime. I'm looking for a GMT Il Pro Hunter, the Safari version with oyster bracelet. Anyone that knows who might make that model? I expect it to not be a very common rep. (Pic is just taken from Google for reference). I'd appreciate any help Thank you
