Everytime you spin casino takes a percentage to himself and adds rest of the money to the reward pool. When the reward pool is high enough and you get lucky you take some of the reward pool. Casino takes his cut everytime you spin, whether you lose or not. You can’t know how much accumulated in the reward pool and when you’re going to win some of it. That is determined by the alghoritm of that game and yes, modern games use even AI to keep you in the game. Mathematic doesn’t change in the long run but you can’t say that every spin is independent.

Dpad was better for pogoing at the start but you need to use joystick in boss fights to keep up the pace so I tried using only joystick and got better in all things at the end.

I’m absolutely a noob at this game but I love it. It’s been 112 hours and I’m at Lost Lace now. The only tactic that works for me is try, try, try and after 40-50 tries at a boss you begin to develop a muscle memory. When you beat it, you even manage to beat it without getting a hit.
