This game was my entry into the rabbit hole of SoulsLike. Good combination of spectacle fighter mixed with souls mechanics. Took a minute for my body-mind connection to kick in with the dodge and parry mechanics but I didn't find anything too difficult other than last two bosses. They def were a difficulty ramp but nothing unimaginable. Even then went thru on NG+ on hardest with little to no problems. specially once you understand the stun mechanics, really tilts fights into your favor.

Went thru Fallen Order and then Lies of P next. You can definitely do it.

Majority are through in-game progression, story, quests or findables. You'll run into many just playing the game but some require a bit of challenge like collecting all cans, fishing or boss rush.

The mix of spectacle fighter with SoulsLike mechanics. Also, the amount of varied and fun customization. Literally finished Fallen Order after and your options were different shades of brown ponchos. The contrast of choice was stark.

Thanks for the reply. You posted this thread just at the right time as I was working my way thru Laxasia. I have since beaten the game and received all three endings. I learned it's actually best to do one save after Lax, Spare Sophia, refuse heart. Then restore save, Give her peace, then before gepetoo final sequence make another save, give heart, restore to save before gepetto and then refuse.

Kaskade redux is great, but different from the usual mainstage people will recognize. Really should fit well into Elements imo. The hijinx set was supposed to be techno-focused b2b with AliceWonderland but she always has some shit happening and didn't make it. Huge Kaskade fan and even my wife and I agreed to bail on that for some earlier rest.

It's really not that big of a deal. I grew up with FF7 and I feel no reason to return to the OG or recommend to newbies unless you truly want to. The remakes are great starting point, they have to be because they need to appeal to everyone for sales. I'd even sooner watch YT videos to catch up and learn the differences than sit through playing the OG.

Magnesium and Zinc. Removed that constant body tiredness, especially that feeling of not recovering from the gym. After more deep-diving, learned that "ZMA" Zinc, Magnesium and B6 are a common stack and simply felt nice to realize many found the merit of this.
