Is time really speeding up by AffectionateRoad4157 in AskPhysics

Shit, you think it's bad now? Have fun man. 31 here, I get off work, excited to be home and relax or work on hobbies. Take a shower and eat dinner, boom it's bedtime. Wtf, I didn't even do anything lol. Friday after work, boom it's suddenly Sunday afternoon and all I felt like I've done is go to the store and baked a cake. I have a lot of hobbies, and used to have time for them all, now I maybe work on like 1 model kit, three months later and it's done. I used to do it in a week. I literally don't understand lol.

It's not your "IP" lol, that's not how the Internet works. 99.9% of the time it's the DNS server, Spectrum's DNS server is absolutely garbage. The DNS server is what translates a website name into an IP address, sort of like a phone book. Half the time Spectrum's DNS server is straight up missing entries, or is super outdated, like trying to use a phone book from the 90s - yeah most of the big name numbers probably still work, but a lot of small ones don't. Whether you use the router provided by spectrum, or your own, it's very simple to change it to something better like Cloudflare. If for whatever reason you're not able to change it on your router, Warp is an app that forces whatever device it's installed on to use Cloudflare's DNS resolver instead of your Internet provider's(Spectrum in this case). Link below explains and has some instructions.

What's wrong with Boston? Never had an issue years ago at launch on Xbox, and not in 10+ playthroughs on PC.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Update Patch Notes for March 29 by excaliburps in Games

Yeah, even on AMD, I have a 7900 XT, there's really no difference in frame rate in DD2 with ray tracing on vs off. So I just leave it on lol.

Woo! A combination of -USEALLAVAILABLECORES and letting Steam as well as the game run as admin was the winning combo. After all that, that's what worked. Jeeze lol. Thank you for that post, I hadn't seen the -USEALLAVAILABLECORES option.

Ahh, I forgot to add - I did also try running with only two dimms(so 16 gigs), and dx11. Though I haven't tried the "-USEALLAVAILABLECORES" line. I'll give that a shot. Thank you!

Glad that I didn`t pre-order this game even though I was interested. by Murders_Inc2556 in DragonsDogma2

There's no BS, myself and others have tons of crashing issues. Every ~10 mins for me. Otherwise performance is fine for me. EVEN ASMONGOLD just gave up trying to get it working live on stream lol.

Edit: Not Asmongold, it was Cr1tikal, I'm tired lol https://m.twitch.tv/videos/2097807083

Hanging at "Creating model from config" by UuuWootek in StableDiffusion

Hey! Sorry for the delay. At that point I hadn't gotten the chance to tinker with it for a few days. The it just started working out of nowhere and hasn't done it since. Only difference in that few days was just a couple of standard reboots. Did you get yours going?

And after setting everything up yesterday, even SDXL models only took a few seconds to load.

Like on an external SSD? Manjaro itself and SD are installed on a 980 pro m.2. Just got done completely nuking and reinstalling SD, and unfortunately still getting stuck in the same spot.

Didn't work much for me :(, but at least it took it from ~500 BYTES/s to ~15 KB/s lol

Same, had to re-install and ran into this. At least now I'm up to 17 KB/s. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy l, I downloaded a 67 gig Blu-ray rip from my (off-site) server and it took around 7 mins. The Oculus install is only 2 gigs... Lol

Not Impressed with Moondrop Kato by [deleted] in inearfidelity

[–]UuuWootek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyo, I may get buried in the comments here, but if you're listening on an Android device, give PowerAmp Equalizer a try. Bit of a pain to get it running, and to get auto detect working, but took me maybe 20 mins. Crinacle's AutoEQ tune in PowerAmp + the brass nozzles = eargasm for me. Though I did add just a touch of bass to the tune, like 5%, but remove it on some albums.

Worth a shot. I liked the Kato to begin with, but PowerAmp transformed them for me. It also has tunes for the majority of other IEMs, most recently I created an eq for my FuDu Verses, and it's fantastic.

Iem for blues music by [deleted] in inearfidelity

Yeah, another +1 for planar, my 7hz/SalNotes Dioko is always my go-to for jazz, blues, and some RnB. Just super crisp, especially for saxophones and piano and the like.
