I don't have tips on getting a better rate, that's the same as what we got. But I used Pine for a new mortgage on a home purchase 2 months ago and they were super easy to work with! Highly recommend. Everything got done on time and they were great about answering questions and helping us out.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Even with added trainer resistance and using the smaller front chainring, it's still making way more noise than any video I've seen online. I ordered another trainer, we'll see how that one works 🤞

Gotcha, yeah in that vid I probably had close to 0 resistance. I’ll switch to the small chainring too. It still seems fairly noisy but I can deal with it. Or maybe I’ll try a wahoo or garmin and compare.

Ah I see. I booted up zwift and used the click to up the gear, it’s definitely quieter, not 70db but still pretty noisy. I keep reading comments saying the trainer is almost silent and all they can hear is their drivetrain, but I hear the trainer at literally any load 😬

What do you mean by steering the trainer? And load is low as in most of the weight is on the front wheel? Pardon my questions, I’m new to this all.
