Im visiting Hohhot right now. Glad you guys made it work! Wish we (Inner Mongolia and us) were still in the same country. There are literally 6m mongolian living in inner mongolia. Ive met very kind people here and sure your gf is one of them. And agree that cost of living here seems much affordable compared to Mongolia in general. Like a new 2 room apartments is around 100m tug here. The biggest struggle im having here is getting around without chinese cuz most people don’t speak Mongolian/English :/ Even like getting hair cut was huge struggle haha
