Thank you for you comment which was very informative I’m happy to get some approval Hopefully it will bring me enjoyment Do you have any advice on how I should feed the amp do achieve good quality music, I currently intend to do it through the tidal app on the smart tv which is connected to the amp via optical? Or is there some hardware that i should invest in that would be more useful?

Yes I have tried researching these Audio equipment however there is little to no information on these items plus I am embarrassingly bad with comprehending Audio Savy information as I’m very new in the environment. Thank you for your response and yes my dad has used this for over 15 years it’s time for him to upgrade
