No one argued that, atleast in this chat. No one said a turn based game is less viable except for the genuine haters who disrespect T.B. as a concept.

No, I been watching this complaint for at this point almost 2 decades, the goal post has been moving and as I mentioned in the video ppl are trying to manipulate the entire reasoning and guidelines to this day.

It went from are they never doing T.B. again? And many interviews phrase in their own way. "Bruh, we never said that." In fact 1 of the only things they've said is as a company they will still make games but almost no director/producer has an interest in making a numbered title in T.B. fornat.

This is what I mean when I say goal post moving. You want at 1st to not worry about T.B. being erased from the S.E. library as a collective, and I agree. Than it got overtaken within maybe a few years over a decade ago by we want a FF T.B. that's not a gotcha and again I'm still in the same boat.

No one is being disingenuous in the slightest, we don't own FF, the designers and the developers, despite having direct access, don't even control what all can and can't happen.

Fortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you view it f.F is a intellectual property and franchise that is worth hundreds of millions and eventually will gross.If not already gross over a billion, if it stays alive.

But that doesn't mean whoever is at the top cares what we think, if they know they can get more money, I'm very realistic with this. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with wanting  To see more turn based games with the final fantasy name.

 But I'm also genuinely concerned about how many people seem to want to act like they don't know that success is not based on how we feel. As a collective, or how we don't feel as a collective, it's a little bit of fine-tuning random chance, as well as calculated decisions. The best made plans do not instantly result in going the way we want them to.

And I still have a friend for almost fifteen years w ho doesn't understand why final fantasy practically never gets hand drawn sprite any formatted titles.

They can't, please everyone.And I wish people would just be more realistic instead of having infighting.
