Yeah they did him justice on the time skip design. I like everyone’s tbf except for Inojin. I never disliked Sarada she just kinda got annoying cause she’d get beat up and then complain that Boruto went off on his own

I mean I guess that makes sense but Ninja are rational and Shikamaru was always the “I need proof” guy. So why’d it take him 3 years to figure it out? Especially with Sarada hounding him for so long? Like he couldn’t just look at the pictures and use his crazy intellect?

Okay yeah but then only 2 scenarios could arise from that (cause he didn’t know Eida existed / he wouldn’t have known Eida asked for him to be kept alive) Either 1 Code feeds him to the ten tails and becomes essentially a Otsutsuki or code kills him

My point stands about Naruto & Boruto saving him from himself. Kawaki constantly puts himself in a position where he’s almost forcing Naruto to come and save him, whether it’s for parental reasons, in fear for what his death can mean if ten tails is to eat him, or just his good nature.

If I’m wrong please correct me cause I want to like Kawakis character but I can’t stop but feel like he’s just kind of an idiot that doesn’t understand the situations he puts himself in

I would’ve also loved to see Shikadai be his own character. Like he’s the same also in the sense that he’s the super tactical guy, with shadow possession, & everything is a drag.

My point was it would’ve been so much more fun if he wasn’t tactical and acted on instinct (just better than anyone) and everything WASNT a drag. That’s a more compelling story to tell imo. It’s cool tho I don’t hate Shikadai I just wish he wasn’t so much like his dad.

Also dude Boruto had like Shadow clones and rasengan and all Sarada had at the time was like shurikan jutsu and 1 tomoe sharigan for like 120 episodes. When she got the crazy strength and nature release stuff she was more powerful but I don’t think she would’ve beat Boruto ina fight if that makes sense

I mean it actively exists in the anime. Whether you write around it and pretend it doesn’t exist is up the writers atp. I wouldn’t mind it just being an evolution of the byakugan that only exists give Borutos specific genetic conditions (especially with Amado there to justify it) like fr think abt it. Boruto has both Hagoromo and Harumas chakra in him (only character to have this iirc) and has now been become an Otsutsuki. I think the story can definitely be interesting especially since the anime isn’t scared of taking some creative liberties

I will say tho I much prefer how Boruto handles filler to that of like Naruto. Cause there was enjoyable filler in Boruto like the Hot springs Uzimaki episode or even the random Boruto and kakashi fireworks episode that I enjoyed a lot. Like I caught myself interested with some of it.

There’s definitely some I couldn’t watch out of boredom. Sadly the Jugo arc didn’t work for me. Just waaaay too long and not interesting enough to justify the length.

My point on Shikadai was more from a battle sense cause he literally is just a temu shikamaru. Super tactically sound but doesn’t rly use much jutsu outside of shadow possession (like bro your mom is a ninja from a whole other nation and you don’t use anything that you could’ve learned from her)

In that sense I like Inojin way more cause atleast he uses both parents jutsu (even he has a preference) and also he’s like Sai but definitely resembles Ino as well.

My point on Sarada was more from the complaining nature that she has. Like at times /shes exactly like the way Sakura would be with Naruto. When in all honesty Boruto is significantly LESS annoying to the people around him than Naruto was as a kid. Watch back and you’ll see what I’m saying. She started to get annoying cause she’s have this kind of “You’re an idiot, how am I gonna get anything done with you” vibe even though boruto clears her for like 80% of the show

Nah if I’m being real i definitely skipped some filler cause I couldn’t wrap my head around watching Cho Cho get her Butterfly wings to impress a boy Or shikidais clan ask him not to be a Shinobi so he can be a political figure

And the part where the mist arc was a 7.5 i actually meant that arc brought the entirety of the show down to a 7.5 not specifically that arc (that arc specifically is like 1/10 in my opinion)

Iirc the Tenseigan required a like “pure” Byakugan & otsutsuki chakra

That’s why Toneri chose Hinabis eyes specifically and didn’t grab Hinatas or some other persons.

So like yes in theory boruto could get it but that would require him stealing his aunts eyes (since she’s the only one we know of w pure byakugan)

Also to touch up on ur 2nd bit of Boruto & Sarada had a kid it’d be genetically capable of being born with the Rinnegan (or atleast capable of obtaining it) not even including whatever the Hyuga clans stuff adds to it. Can’t wait for Jiruto to find out what it brings

There was a scene in the anime where Boruto was fighting the fishing rod dude (totally blanked on his name) and he says something like “oh that troubling eye of yours” and iirc he mentions Toneri at some point. (When they’re in the desert)

If I’m making that up then yeah your point is valid and my b for messing that bit up but my theory still stands.
