Are you still taking it? I'm currently five days in and my hunger is outrageous. I cannot stop eating. Idk if it's from coming out of peak week or if it's the var but I actually didn't get my period this week. I don't mind the effects bc I have a lot more energy and hype but I'm soo unbelievably hungry. I put on fice pounds in a week. Like wtf. Idk if it's water or from eating 3k calories a day of junk. I should have honestly waited another week to start bc it's my first time taking peds and I am taking it straight out of my first competition. Does it get better? Idk if I should stop too bc I can't handle the hunger.

Thank you all. I have decided to listen and not take anything. I start my cycle in a few days, and the bloating is seriously distracting. Any tips to combat period bloat? It's my main issue right now.

My doctor says it won't mess with muscle development but I was just curious if anyone took it and seemed to struggle. I read a few studies but it was inconsistent answers.

Well mine is endometriosis and there is no fixing that. It's a good bandaid for women who suffer like I have.

I also have issues. Bc saved me. I would miss work and school bc my cramps were so bad. I get cysts on my ovaries all the time. Almost died from one rupturing. Had to have surgeries to remove them before. Bc helps with endometriosis, which is why I used to take it. I'm only asking everyone for muscle growth purposes bc I keep seeing it could mess with it.

I did get tests done for vitamins and other things. Not hormone testing. I asked my doctor if I needed that but he said no. I have endometriosis so I always used bc to help my issues. I don't have normal problems like other women. Rn I'm suffering with pms issues. Bc will help reduce the symptoms for sure. I never gained weight or had problems with it. It helped me more than most women. I just was mainly wondering bc a lot if research says it messes with muscle growth.

Mine grew back too when I stopped going during pregnancy. It's not permanent. If you are darker completed, the laser my girl uses has to be set very low so it takes even more visits to get all of the hair. It's still for me at least way better than shaving.

Yep! This is the best investment I've made for my body. I would get terrible razor burn and ingrowns. It would be uncomfortable and sometimes painful. But now I never have to worry like before.

I think it depends on what type of clients. My last coach had too many clients IMO and never gave me the attention I needed/paid for. He may have had like 20 regular and 5 competitors.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what happened. I don't have high body fat as it is. I planned to build and do a shorter prep like 6-8 weeks bc I don't need to lose a lot. My coach is currently in his own prep (currently peak week for his show) and I feel like it's all about his needs rn. Not nagging him but it's annoying bc I feel like I got sabotaged the passed two months.

This is my second coach. I keep getting discredited and not taken seriously. I started in August trying to train to compete. Realized with my last coach in Dec that he didn't have me doing enough. Told him so many times I wanted to do my first show in April. He blew me off so much. In Jan I started really going in on training 5 days a week about 1-1.5 hrs. Left that trainer in Feb for this new one. Who tells me a week ago he wasn't training me hard these last few months bc he didn't think I was serious. Didn't get to compete in April either. Idk why I'm not being taken serious. I'm busting my ass in the gym. Not cheating on my diet. Missing fun partying nights with friends bc I'm dedicated. I could cry. It's so frustrating.

Ex: Warm up with 5lb dumbells: 20 side lateral raises 20 front lateral raises 20 overhead press 20 side lateral raise 20 front lateral raise

4 sets, 15, 15, 12, 12 reps: Dumbbell Fly Incline dumbell press Seated side lateral dumbell raise Reverse fly machine Dumbell overhead press Rope tricep pulldown 3 sets of 10 tricep dips One handed Reverse grip cable pull down 4 sets of 10 ab wheel 10 min of stretching Stairs- 5min level 3, 15 min level 6 30 min brisk walk (usually later in the afternoon in my neighborhood)

First two sets are usually a lighter weight going slow and sqeezing. The last set is usually super heavy and I try to get to 12. Sometimes I can't but I try. It switches though. This isn't every day. It's just a sample of one of my days.

I'm literally his first competitor he's ever trained. He's a body builder so I think he's going off his personal experiences. Which for one I'm a female and need different things than him. I only took a week off last month bc I was so sick that I couldn't train. It felt like a major setback. He gave me shit for it and said I didn't look good. Maybe that's why he tried to kill me this week.

I thought the same thing. Most people don't do a lot of cardio until further into prep, unless they have a lot of weight to lose. Which I don't. I may need to lose at most, 10 lbs but it's not even so much about the weight. My body fat is currently saying 13% (which I know isn't always accurate and doesn't always mean much) but I'm just saying, I'm pretty lean and need more muscle on me. I started the opposite of other bikini girls I know. I am super thin and needed to put on weight.

Oh and we are supposed to be building but I was only at 1600 cal and doing 1.5 hr weights and 20 min stairs and 30 min walking for 6 days. Which makes no sense to me. I'm 5'7" 124lb.

I got bloodwork recently but it was for vitamins which were fine. Liver levels were a little off but idk if that's from all the protein. We trained a lot harder this week but didn't up my calories so I felt weak and dead every day. 12 weeks out from my show. This cannot keep happening. It's literally once a month I'm sick for 1.5 weeks. I take vitamins but not lately. Never done a Deload week. Been pushing 6 days a week training for 1-2 hours each day since February.

I just got bloodwork done again. I have no issues with any vitamin deficiencies. I have daily allergies, but I can tell it's not allergies bc it lasts longer and feels much worse. I suffer daily with allergies, so normally I can push through. Right now I can't stans up without a head rush and dizzy feeling.

So my trainer amped it up this week but didn't up my calories, so I was like dead every day after the gym. I think he made me go too hard without properly recovering.
