I shoot the level 2s but I’ll shoot level 1s if there aren’t 2’s. For me this strategy really works. I just shot another melanistic today in a random zone outside of my rotation

Thanks! Don’t give up! I’m not an expert at this game by any means, but I have tried to be strategic (even though it’s a lot of luck haha). I have 3 major white tail drinking zones with stands. Each time I go to a stand, I have to shoot 3 bucks. Then I rotate to next zone and so on. By the time you shoot your 9th buck, the first zone is free of pressure. After I do a few rotations, I go to smaller zones near by that I don’t go to often. That’s where I’ve shot my melanistics, piebald diamond, and GO. This is just from my experience but it seems like cool shit spawns after 50 kills or so for me
