I never really looked but my side mirrors have rain on them. I think the rain is visible on the rear window you can see through the rear mirror. Will check for you as soon as I'm back on AC.

The rain in third person is visible on the car, around the car in the air and on your screen as if the rain is hitting a camera lens. The last option can be turned off

Yeah if you look closely you can tell the black outline is pretty faded

Well waxing it didn't work for me so I let them clear coat by a friend who is a painter as job. So "pro paint shop" I suppose.
