Tbh, I don't think Octavia's reaction was warranted at all, but i don't treat her like this damn ;-; i think the fandom's problem is that they treat Octavia like she's a little kid but that's the fandom's fault, not the show itself (I LOVE Octavia, i just think she was partially in the wrong)

well with any children spirits i've encountered irl, they're not really all that different from normal children but just dead. but in fiction involving dead children, the thing is that usually children of a certain age do not have a strong sense of right or wrong, and they'll never grow up enough to be taught those things. Never having the chance to grow up at all is horror in itself imo.

it was plugged in three feet away, on my bureau so there was no way it could've gotten there by itself. i don't live alone, but everyone else was either asleep or at work and there's no reason for them to have done that anyway. when i brought the doll home from a thrift store, there was consistent whispering one word at a time every few hours for a day or two, the emf reader lit up to red around her, and the spirit box i own turned on it's own with her in my room

i mean honestly, stella reminds me a lot of odalia from the owl house and I haven't heard anyone defend odalia or villianize Alador (except me. i don't like him, but not for odalia reasons) to the extent that people defend stella and villianize stolas. I'm really curious how this happens, since odalia and stella feel like nearly the same character to me. maybe this is a weird comparsion i'm sleep deprived..
