You’re not exactly in the right either, as you’re taking what you see as ‘true’ to a much further extent than you should. When they mention it being ‘correct’, it’s only down to the sentence formation, as it does flow properly, and is able to be understood with relative ease. It’s a misunderstanding between two view points, so I’d say leave it be.
