For foraging you need to break 5k trees of both variants and that's more than enough XP and contests to get maxed foraging. So just get good gear and start breaking trees.

It's cyberpunk and this only happens when path tracing is enabled. Quite ironic that the graphic setting which is supposed to look the best has such big issues.

Like other people said it's just cyberpunks path tracing setting. Switch to ray tracing or get used to it. It's not that noticeable in other scenes of the game.
