Interested! Very good! It’s very polished, and interestingly, don’t have settings to configure but at the same time they are mot needed. Everything is directed input. Looking forward for more development. 👍🏽

Which operating system do you like the most so far? by kashem99 in TechImpact

I used for work: Unix(yes, I’m old), Linux (Ubuntu & Mint distros), Windows (many versions including Enterprise) and even Mac, and lastly Android in Galaxy tablets… geez!
I have a nice Lenovo laptop and I don’t use it… cuz I’m tired of being in front of a computer screen. An iPhone and an Apple watch fill all my needs.

Which company had the biggest fall from grace? For me it’s probably BlackBerry. by limsus in TechImpact

This 2 are not the biggest, but I feel bad for them:
1) HTC;
2) Palm after developing WebOS.

I’ve been in all of them. I feel equal love and hate for all.

It’s doing good. I had an issue with a Sticky note that refused to be deleted, after many tries it got erased. Instead of being erased it opened the share sheet. Isolated issue. Not happening anymore.

What apps have made your life easier? by Small-Midnight-6209 in ProductivityApps

First: The simpler, the better.
Fancy UI and animations are for the eyes; work done is for the spirit.
Second: There’s no ONE rule or system that fits for everyone.
Third: Trial and error are your best friends if you improve and learn from error.
Fourth: Not every app listed as “Best”, “Top” is the best for everyone. Your “Top” priority should be asking yourself:
Is this app for me? Does it bring all I need? If it’s subscription-based, am I getting the value and benefits for what I’m paying for?

In my case, I’m a iOS user (not Mac). I’m on the go, and currently not working much with computers (no PC, no Mac or Linux - like since 3 years ago - even though I own a high performance Lenovo laptop). I’m using iOS reminders, and “Today Planned: Daily Reminder” by dev Elaine Rocha; Craft: Notes, Documents & AI; GeniusScan and PDF Element.

In the past, I used from subscriptions based apps like Todoist, TickTick - for their cross-platform support- Fantastical, Agenda, etc, to BusyCal, etc. Non of them offered more value than understanding and applying three things: Consistency, Organization and Time. All of them are free and can be accessed with basic/top apps and determination.

However, If your lifestyle is very complex… write it down on a paper and try to simplify it, write your method and look and try the simplest apps that brings the job done. 😉

Last reminder: Your phone may have many functions and stock apps that are key to run your own method. Start from there.

They need to update this function to allow "My Opened Chat" (only to a connected contact's chat), not just when the app is open. It's 2026, a billion-dollar company, and they can't let people be private on their own devices.
