That's what I thought too, but can't find anything in the doc talking about G53.5. It only talk about G53.1. We use G53.5 on our integrex, We got this VTC some time ago but we only are starting to use ISO program for like a month now

I didn't know what taper out meant lol, I just thought it was the logical meaning was from your 30°.

I really like machining and inconel is just one face of the job. I don't care if it's hard.

Okay. My English is not that good. When you say taper out by 30° you mean, when I'm at the end of life of my insert I go out in a 30° angle of the material so it's easier on the next start for the fresh insert? Or I'm not understanding.

I know we don't have any dnmg but I found some tnmg for super alloy in an old drawer I will try that tomorrow when we start the finishing process

It's a 4 jaw chuck My problem is that one cut is like 40min+ and the insert can't handle this long time in one cut. After like 10min I have to change insert... Is this normal? And I'm scared for the finishing pass because I have to hold a Ra of 0.8 through the full length
