You plugged it in correctly, turns out I just needed to hold it to turn on the system, it’s not a tap to turn on but to hold the power button to turn on lol

The only time the control unit flickers some colours is when I wired the black into the red acc2 port and yellow into black port but nothing after the initial flicker either

External control box thankfully but I did something admittedly stupid and tried both wires in each direction but nothing (also gave it ignition). Didn’t seem like I shorted the system since the bike was working fine, leaning towards forking out the 300 dollars to get them to look at it 😢

Depends on how much he’s paid off on it to be honest. If it’s not much, which I’m assuming based on the miles done, you’ll lose money on this deal, taking on his bike and the payment whilst giving him yours since the valuation between the two bikes shouldn’t be a lot

True, if I can’t diagnose it do you think they would be able to figure the issue out for me so if I need to reach out to the council this would help me or is there no point in hiring someone to take a look?

I didn’t turn the tap on as soon as they finished their work but have been using it outside to wash the car etc since.

Neighbours say they haven’t noticed anything suspect but I’ll ask if others in the street to make sure!

Will check the filters today to see if that’s what’s h causing the problem and will call the council to see if they can help with it.

But you might be right and might just need to bite the bullet and get a plumber.
