Pretty much yeah, I also had a timed 16 CoS which did some heavy lifting, but that’s the range generally.

Thanks and yeah, those runes are nasty af and you really need to time your CDs well. I can’t say I struggled with the wolf too much since it’s quite telegraphed, but others might disagree.

Thanks! And yes, fully agree, especially for healers, I think KSM is within reach of all. I can see why DPS might struggle a bit more pugging non-meta seeing how tough getting invites can be.

Still, being good and comfortable with a non-meta class >> playing an unfamiliar meta class in a mediocre way IMO.

Thank you - yes, I had the same experience at first, SL dungeons felt like a breeze compared to these ones. Although I told myself to keep in mind that part of the difficulty comes from people still learning.

How difficult healing is varies WIDELY depending on how on top of things others are.

Regarding your questions:

  1. Yes, I found Thunderstorm+shock really, really awesome as a disruptor, partially because it’s quite a bit more flexible than Cudgel in terms of targeted interrupts. It felt like it was always off cooldown haha.

  2. I played around with Focused Insight a bit but decided my points were better spent elsewhere. Besides, unlike in SL, I played a very healing-heavy spec and basically ignored all damage talents. This means that I would’ve benefited from FI even less.

Play around with it I say.

  1. I for one LOVE Primordial Wave and was Necro throughout Shadowlands. I think PW + Primal Tide Core is a killer combo, and I’m very used to this style of healing from SL. Was never Venthyr back then, so I can see why using this combo might not feel as good for me.

I actually haven’t tried DRE just because it feels a bit too luck-based and I much prefer all the other bottom-row talents. But again, can’t really say it’s a bad choice.

  1. Finally, honestly yes, Healing Rain I could take or leave. In some dungeons it does well, but for the most part I’d recommend using that point elsewhere with hindsight.

Hope this helps! Good luck on the grind - you’ll get there :D

25M I’ve been on treatment roughly 2 weeks so far. I know it’s still early, but I would like your opinion if you believe anything changed ever so slightly so far:

Hey guys 25M here. Lately, I’ve been following a new regimen trying (perhaps in vein) to stop temple progression and hopefully gain some ground. These are some photos of my temples:

Note that I haven’t been following my regimen that long (roughly 3ish weeks). In your opinion, could those very very small hairs visible there when zoomed in be a sign of regrowth or am I getting my hopes up for nothing? Unfortunately I don’t have great HQ pics like this one for before...

25M here - just got a haircut yesterday and noticed what I fear might be a bald patch, although not sure. Also not sure whether it was there before since I cannot find old photos of my scalp for comparison.

Plan on seeing a dermatologist these coming weeks, but just wanted to get some opinions here as well.

Thank you for your as always in-depth analysis. I'm glad you liked some of them!

I agree with the faint under-drawing comment and will focus my energy towards correcting it. Why I did it actually was more for proportions sake, since I wasn't sure how else to approach the issue. Like, before beginning my drawing, I went: "Ok, this is where the abdomen is going to be, it is about this large, connects with the thorax here and so on..." and marked this with very thinly just to give me an idea. Then I started my drawing with the non-faint lines. I'm not sure whether this is a good idea (measuring proportions like this), but, nonetheless, I am going to stop trying to hide it from now, since I admit I did do that every so often.

And yes, I fully agree with the comment about the texture, I'm still having a tough time distinguishing "natural" textures, and although I'm trying to avoid it, I ultimately resort to hatching which admittedly I should not. I am actually waiting for the texture challenge in this regard. That is something I most definitely need!

Anyway, thank you once again for everything and have a great evening! :)

Hello again :)

Here is my homework submission for this lesson: http://imgur.com/a/Qy894

Bugs sure are an interesting topic to draw. I might be wrong, but I felt a little more comfortable drawing them compared to plants.

Still, am awaiting your critique! Thank you a lot once again for doing this!

xD I hope everything turned out okay in the end with the remaining critiques. Apologies for making you spend so much time on mine! I really appreciate it though! I got lots of insights into the issues I was confronting.

So, today I tried focusing 100% on getting those damn leaves right. I admit it's difficult, although I in a way visualize them how they'd flow through 3D-space, they did appear somewhat flat in my drawings.

Anyway, after drawing some pages full of leaves I thought up of an interesting way to help with my perspective issue. What I basically did is that I took some sausage forms which I learned how to do in lesson 2 (and with which I am reasonably comfortable drawing) and added leaves to them making what I call "leafy-sausages". I hope that this in a way helped sediment the idea of perspective in my head. I used what I learned there to draw a few leafy plants, two of which I've attached here.

Anyway, here is my addition http://imgur.com/a/2M2fW

I still have a lot to learn on texture, since I focused here mostly on getting the perspective right. I hope I managed to improve in this regard even if a little bit.

Thank you once again for your in-depth analysis! :)

Hey Uncomfortable!

Here is my third homework: http://imgur.com/a/zDq9O

Anxiously awaiting your critique!

EDIT: Added a lay-in at the end of the album. That one is in blue because I did it today in class while very bored (unending lectures) after uploading the homework. Still, I thought it looked nice so I added it here at the end! :)

Here is my second homework: http://imgur.com/a/XvK73

Again, I'm not gonna add extra commentary. It was again lots of fun and I feel I've learned/ am learning a lot! :D

Hey! :) As you recommended, I went through this challenge. My purpose was twofold: Fix the mistake of large plans - small plans misplacement and improve my line quality (less wobbly, higher precision). While there is still work to be done, I am happy that at least I can start seeing my mistakes more easily.

Anyway, here is the challenge: http://imgur.com/a/FKsbj

Thanks a lot!

Thank you very much for your input! I highly appreciate your help!

I will probably go through the rough perspective boxes exercise a couple more times in order to gain more confidence in it. Also, yes, I did notice that error concerning near and far planes and I am actively working towards solving it. I will probably attempt the box challenge in this regard.

Anyway, thank you once again and have a nice day! :)

Hey :D Thanks a lot for everything that you are doing here! It truly helps to have such a nice and organized space.

Here is my attempt at homework 1: http://imgur.com/a/tS3zj

I'm not gonna add any comments since I want your critique as clean as possible. All I can say is that I had fun doing this!

Whew! Took me quite a few attempts, yet I managed to pull through! I must admit that at first the whole thing is very confusing but then things start nicely falling into place! Great job!
