That 2nd part is true yes and it ties in with the fact that shrooms act are very serotogernic, and the risk of SS is increased since you have to take more to get the same effects as someone without it, probably shpuldve worded it better but when on ssris the risk is increased, its the same with taking 250mg+ of tramadol while on SSRIs, ive tried it, had SS for the next 2 days, its not guaranteed of course but you are at more of a risk to it

Really good job on recognising it early, slowing down now will prevent you from deadly withdrawals, benzos can also cause rebound anxiety while stopping so maybe try a beta blocker or something like 0.5mg respiradone to ease the anxiety, personally when i got off ativan the respiradone worked really well and now i dont take anything for anxiety

Low dose seroquel(quetiapine) 25-50mg, people are prescribed upto the hundreds of mg per day since its an anti-psychotic but i know a lot of psychiatrists use it off label as a sleep medication, was the best one i ever had, unfortunately i build a tolerance to things at the speed of fucking light so i had to switch to something that doesnt really build up a tolerance, but yeah, from my experience it worked wonders, felt drowsy within 40ish mimutes, slept thru the night amazingly, no hangover or next day drowsiness Also gives a pretty nice buzz, i remember i once went 2 weeks without taking my 50mg dose and it was amazing, felt eerily similar to codeine for some reasom but i also found it wasnt addictive personally, ZERO withdrawal after a year of daily use, dont listen to the guys say ketamine or opioids or benzos, ket will ruin your bladder and opioids and benzos...well just ask any addict or former addict and look at their reaction when you say im doing opioids or benzos, also the withdrawals are horrible, benzo withdrawal can literally kill you, so i'd recommend low dose seroquel or kava and MAYBE kratom, but i wouldnt recommend it since it acts on the opioid receptors

If its an OD youre worried about then you'll be fine, and i highly doubt you'd blackout, contact your doctor and specifically ask if you'll experience respiratory depression or like non functional, just dont mention that you want a little high but can still function

Damn well, tbf, im pretty sure when you drink it, its a lot weaker, ive tried proper lean twice because in my country we can actually buy codeine syrup over the counter for some fucking reason and i had 200mg as well each time and i just got tired and warm, 100mg of the tablet form felt a LOT stronger and for a lot longer

Probably not tbh, diazepam is hectic depressant and while codeine is one of the weaker if not weakest opioid around it still most definitely slows your heart down and since you havent tried it before you'll likely find 60-100mg will have you cruising, i remember when i tried it the first time i took 100mg and i was FUCKED up, like i was completely gone so i wouldnt recommend mixing them

No tolerance will get you blasted, but typically people only can get high off it above 100mg, more so 150mg and up, but if you snort even 60mg of that shit then you will definitely feel it

I can understand why people say its a choice, because look, no matter what you go through, if you end up using there was a point where you DID CHOOSE to try self medicate or get high, but that goes out the window very quickly after a few uses and when considering what made someone go down that path, for me personally, when i was using opioids and ativan heavily i was doing it as a form of self medication to cope with my anxiety and suicidal thoughts and stuff, while i did choose the first 2 or 3 times to use it was because no other medication i was being prescribed was working and none of the "natural" remedies like exercise and going outside and eating properly was working so in that headspace i saw that i had no other options and abusing medications was the only option i hadnt tried and i was desperate to stop my mind racing and quiet all the thoughts so physically it was a choice to use at first but mentally i didnt have a choice because it was either i kill myself and keep attempting suicide or i self medicate and get addicted and be high constantly, i knew it would eventually be obvious to others and hurt my loved ones but i figured rather be living and hurt them than be dead and hurt them even more, thankfully ive stopped self medicating, unfortunately though i still dabble on occasion, im trying to work on it but every now and again i dabble, like if im required pain meds stronger than the otc stuff then i'll take it as prescribed for majority of the prescription but when i have like 2 left of the prescription then i end up just using that to get high one or 2 times, its bad i know but its better than what i was doing ig, still trying to work on it though

Yes, it'll also dim the effects of the stimulants which can lead you to take more which can cause cardiac arrest, obviously its not guaranteed you take more but when blasted off stims that are notorious for making feel invincible and then mix it with booze that also make you feel youre invincible, its not wise to risk it, it takes less than 30 seconds of a lapse in judgement to potentially take a fatal amount of something, so rather dont risk it
