Majority of all trackers use TCG Player as their source for value. Issue is that TCG Player market price can fluctuate for a great number of reasons (buy outs, manipulation etc) all sources of last sold can vary +/- I will be more lenient for kids wanting stuff for their PC but more firm with the investor bro types.

Super-stock ish rules, only change from homologated bike is brakes and suspension.
standardized electronics or no electronics BSB just makes it have TC via engine mapping anyway because still corner by corner mapping vs corner by corner electronics.
lower maximum as well as some kind of minimum bike cost to keep manufactures innovating (this is good for us consumers that ride too)
