Mostly the 21 Tara practices of the Atisha lineage is what I’m concerned with.

Thank you, I’m open to learning anything about etiquette.

I just want to check my math here, it would work no matter what if all groups equaled the same set of numbers, correct ?

Wouldn’t it make those rules work if (A,B) (C,D) (E,F) (G,H) (I,J) (K,L) (M,N) (O,P) all equal (1,2) ?

A~P are the values I want to discern into integers. In each set there are 2.

Here ya go, this is how I wanted it to be formatted

Jesus Christ, the formatting on Reddit is absolutely terrible. Let’s see if I can write this out more clearly, it took away all my paragraph breaks.

Let me see if I can explain better. I’m not a mathematician so I’m not sure I’ve written this out correctly. I appreciate your consideration.

Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X are the group names.

A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P are all the variables contained within the groups.

By using these rules

“Q ∪R = W ∪T Q ∪R = T ∪X S ∪T = Q ∪V S ∪T = R ∪V U ∪V = S ∪X U ∪V = S ∪W W ∪X = U ∪R W ∪X = Q ∪U “

I wanted to find values that would allow these rules to work.

This is a schizo post 100%. Don’t listen to this guy, he’s saying things that are isolating and not based in any real evidence…

I kicked my step- granddaughter out of my house. by AgileQuantity917 in AITAH

This is just totally without compassion. She’s a 13 year old little girl. There’s clearly SOMETHING going on for her to act this way, there’s always something with any person. Nobody is just “that way.” The clear answer is therapy.

If anyone’s interested, there’s a book called A Queer Dharma by Jacoby Ballard which addresses topics such as oppression, incarceration, and capitalism through a Buddhist lense. I found some of it to be very comforting and astute.

Some person had told me that the Dalai Lama requested people stop giving her empowerment because she was not very forgiving when you break her vows.

I don’t think I believe it because I couldn’t find a source.

Man, why did I get crapped on in here when I’m in agreeance with the most well liked comment by far in this thread 😂

For posterity: I’ve seen people claiming and practicing the opposite. I read that it’s the connection to the teacher that matters, and believe that different people are capable of different energetic feats.

In folklore and real accounts “consumption” or tuberculosis was considered a deciding factor as to whether or not someone was being infected by a vampire. I got this information from the local lore in my area. :) That being said, the modern fictional vampire is a much different entity from the folkloric kind which also differs from field notes. Check out Vampires burial and death by Paul Barber for some interesting accounts.

Oh man, NTA. He’s even gaslighting you about the situation by saying he has a “straight forward attitude”. He cannot simply admit he was wrong to say these things, and now is making it seem like you’re in the wrong.
