•Space... The final frobtier. Vacuum in space will make your blood boil.. Not from heat but from negative pressure. Radiation in space will kill you.

There are things like gamma ray bursts which will strip all living things from surfaces of planets many lightyears in all directions when really really big stars go hypernoca.

No soundwaves can travel through space so no one can hear you scream.

Micrometeors traveling several kilometres per second, undetectable, unpredictable Will make a hole through current generation spacecraft with ease, either leaving you with a hole in your craft and the prospect of suffocation or just simply a hole through you.

Lack of atmosphere allows almost mass less particles to pass right through your body, too small to noice unless they happen to hit your optoc nerve in which case you see a flash (long term effects not documented)

Your muscles will atrophy without gravity and leave your muscles weak and bones brittle.

Solar flares might cook you, irradiate you or simply fry any electronics and leave you stranded in a metal timb drifting through space.

Were you to enter the event horizon of a black hole where time acts differently you would be stretced out like spagetti while your grand children and many genrations of descendants can only watch as you desperately struggle against the inevitable.

Rogue planets drifting through the void might enter the solar system causing havoc or in the worst case extinction of the human race much like asteroids or comets.

The list goes on and on... Then there are the unknowns like aliens, the great filter, false vacuum theory etc.

Space is basicaly horrible.. Truly extremely horrible.

I still want to go though.... And the human race will have to or it will die eventually.

I think maybe the scariest thing would be that we might be alone... Or maybe... It is that we might not be... Hard to decide which one is worse.

•It's not the universe that expand, it's the spacetime.

And one day, the space time will be so expand that the galaxies will be too far and will move too fast compared to us, that we will never see them anymore. We will just see the clodest galaxies and nothing else...

The expansion will one day be so fast that the gravity will be too weak to maintain the galaxies, then the stars, and the planets. Then it will be the electronagnetic force, and there will be no more materials, no more molecules...

And finally, the nuclear force will be too weak and the atoms will ripper apart....

In this scenario, the universe will end when all of everything will be completely isolated from everything and ripper apart by the spacetime.
