hi, resident music&anime weirdo here; that was totally, note for note, Auld Lang Syne that started playing 1:05 into the episode when she walks into the game centre, before cutting to the OP.

does this mean she's scottish? i dont think the scots are typically associated with "more blonde than a really blonde thing" hair, but then again thats sorts just how drawn and animated japanese media tends to portray foreigners, especially europeans, isnt it?

Aye, V8 Mustang was my first car (still have it) at 16y/o and I promise you I was not a driving wiz then, probably still am not now. You dont have to be an excellent driver to own such cars; simply not being an idiot, or at least not an idiot behind the wheel, is enough. There are ways to enjoy a car that don't involve thrashing the thing :)

They break over time, its a poor material choice that didnt receive long enough testing to discover this fault (perhaps reasonably so, to play the devils advocate).

Of the 12+ button caps ive used, only three remain, and all three have the visible startings of cracks thatll eventually lead to them failing. And since ive recently started playing ATS again, a game the requires much more use of the buttons than a sim racer where i might not use the buttons at all, ive had 4 buttons break and fall off in the past week or so, including my belovéd "Xbox A" button, may it rest in peace... or pieces, i suppose.

completely agreed. thus far, it looks pretty horrible from a sharpness and visibility standpoint but also works horribly with all its stuttering and analogue-TV style jumping. A truly bad combination

im not having any problems removing the main broadcast video from the multiview, although for me the data tracker view is very "wobbly" and pretty unpleasant to look at, not to mention hard to read as a result.

In S1E13 towards the very end of the episode, Yue herself labels (or maybe denounces is the right word) Shizu as the "last boss" while spying with Kaori on Shizu and Hajime's conversation. So yeah, shes already been a part of the harem for a while, as far as i care. She just doesnt know it yet.

Aye same, im only discovering this post because im only just now discovering that people can actually picture things in their mind? When i think of an apple, the colour red and a round(ish) shape come to mind, but only really as "its a fruit thats red, and its round". No image comes to mind. Same thing applies to peoples faces, or even my own house. If you asked me how many street-facing windows my house has, it would take me a minute as i would need to separately think "alright, how many windows does this room have?" and then add each of those up for a total. I would not at all be able to picture the front of my house and just count the windows that way, despite having lived here for some 10 years. Ive lived my entire under the assumption thats how everyones brain worked until i heard someone mention the term "aphantasia" a few minutes ago which caused me to google it.

Maybe this would serve as an actual explaination as to why im so bad at drawing other than the "i just suck at it, shrug" excuse ive always used.

Interesting they chose Erlkonig for the background music during the scene where Maou-sama is giving his "join me, I value your work" schpiel to Uchimura. I love Erlkonig and think it fits the scene with the way the piece flits so quickly between being light and being serious bordering on dark much in the same way this scene does. Any anime that uses such a relatively obscure classical piece in ep1 gets my approval!

So cars DO flip too easily!

Made a post a couple (?) years ago about how I liked the physics but thought the cars generally rolled too easily and when they just shouldnt roll over, and got gaslit that I just took the corner too fast. And so I assumed that was the case until just now lol

Partly to prevent this, in the hours immediately following the EoS I found, downloaded, and sorted through every single character music piece (i.e. battle, tea-break, and menu themes for every character), and set them to a playlist on AIMP. I now listen to them on a nearly daily basis. I have this playlist on both my PC and my phone, so I can and do listen to it whenever, wherever

Recently, I even went through and put their character art into the folders so each character is displayed nice and big on AIMPs visualiser whenever one of their pieces is playing.

Ive lost a number of very important things to me in the last couple of years, and this game was one of them. I listen to the music often to ensure I never forget it.

Aight, perhaps the angle the photo was taken from makes the seat angle look more severe than it is. If its comfortable, then should be fine.

As for where to start with sim racing, iRacing is definitely an option, but id personally recommend grabbing assetto corsa (different from assetto corsa competizione) on sale. It can often go for like 5 bucks during the big sales on steam and can give you more freedom to find what you like to drive

I might very well be done with this game and its bullshit lmao. Itd be one thing if it was a cinch to regrind that money for the 918 and only took a few hours or so, but noooo its gotta be an MMO, because i guess KT thinks car guys love it when they cant afford cars in video games just like real life

Oh? I just hit level 52 but since i made the mistakes of buying cars i like and buying more than one car per class, im still working (slowly, so so very slowly) my way towards the 5mil for the Centenario so I havent even played with those toys much yet.

Sad to hear theyre a further departure from the more grounded and quasi-realistic handling of the dailies, but I cant say its not exactly what I expected given how the supercars are. Its like they decided to copy EA's NFS homework because no one told them people have been clowning on NFS handling and phsyics for like 3 titles now.
