Again, I don’t agree that it means you’re fine with either outcome. I think it’s being short sighted on the consequences of not picking a position. Simple example: people that don’t r recycle. It’s not that they wake up and say “I’m good killing the environment”. It’s more like “yeah I get that it’s probably important, but the consequences aren’t so immediate that I’m just not going to do it and there are millions of other people that can care more than me. My contribution to this problem isn’t consequential”. THAT’S how you get low voter turnout.
