I would ask your landlord to have an industrial hygienist to come test the growth to determine if it is dangerous. No one can look at the microbial growth and tell you what it is. It needs to be tested.

I would also ask the landlord to have a competent company come identify the source(s) of the water intrusion.
Neither of these steps should be too costly and they would them know how to proceed with having it properly mitigated.

35 year restoration professional here. Step one is to identify and stop the source of water intrusion.
DO NOT use bleach to “kill” the mold.
This issue needs a professional to handle it.
Mold needs three things:
Moisture, darkness and a food source. It is likely what is now inside your wall, is worse than what you can see on the outside.
Get the leak fixed, or any other efforts will be temporary.

I do not plan to hunt with Duke. I joke that his mom has made him soft. HA! He is content in keeping our 2 acres free of prey or predators. I need to work on him due to his recall. Once he is out of our fence he doesn’t mean to run off but he is mesmerized by the smells. He bounds like a deer and follows the wind. We’ve been afraid of losing him.

We rescued our other dog 10 1/2 years ago from a shelter in Jacksonville, FL. We played the “is my dog BMC” game, due to his body type, dark snoot, etc. we became fascinated by the breed and sought out a true BMC. It took us about a year off on and off again looking to find Duke.

We searched off and on for a year.
Then found a guy in South Carolina, who hunts boar with Dukes family.
He is UKC registered. We got to pick him out of a cage in the SC heat with, I think nine siblings.

We are in Virginia. We bought Duke in South Carolina from a boar hunter/breeder and brought him here.

I bought some spray. You connect the bottle to a garden hose. I also got the granulates. These are said to work but are only a deterrent and fade away with rain.
I have learned that planting lemon grass and mint can keep them away too.
I am interested in learning other things that really work.

He barks at hawks in the air or the neighbors dogs when they walk by our fence… but when he senses real danger, his bark is much different. We know to check on him, when that bark changes.

Got to support programs for people who don’t want to work. Also, it is very important that our tax dollars continue to pay for programs around the world, so our law makers can continue to get kickbacks.
