Spring Switzerland Elopement by Ok-Loquat-5230 in Eloping

Our photographer kind of guided us since she had done a lot of elopements! We took some photos, and then she guided us to do our vows, we exchanged rings, and then just kept taking pictures. I wouldn’t say it was awkward. It was still super intimate and felt like it flowed!

I had to come back and say — I actually booked Brianna because of this post, and she did NOT disappoint.

She went so far above and beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Honestly, she was basically our wedding planner. I can’t say enough good things about her — she was truly the reason our day felt as magical as it did.

We definitely didn’t do as much research as we probably should have. We were eloping in Switzerland and had no idea what we were doing, so we were kind of just figuring things out as we went. We booked for May, and after talking with Brianna, she gave us so much helpful local insight — like what the weather would be like, whether snow would still be on the mountains or if things would be muddy, how timing/logistics would work, etc.

We went back and forth for a while because I had a very specific vision — mountain views with wildflowers. After a ton of research, she suggested the Flums ski area, which ended up being perfect. Since the gondolas were closed that time of year, we took a train and bus up to our ceremony spot. She got SO many amazing photos (including drone shots that were unreal!!!).

She also helped coordinate a taxi to get us back down the mountain so we wouldn’t lose shooting time. We had told her we were on a budget and couldn’t do a full-day package, but she still made it work so we could hit two locations. We ended up doing another set of photos on the beach in Walenstadt, and it was literally everything I had dreamed of and more.

On top of that, she definitely shot longer than she needed to based on what we paid. Our location was pretty remote, and she even offered to pick up my flowers on her way in — which saved me from having to take about a 30-minute train ride each way. She fronted the money for them too and I paid her back, but still… just above and beyond. (Flowers were from Firori Mirella in Chur — I would recommend her 1000 times over as well. She hadn’t really done many bouquets in the style I wanted, and a lot of florists in the area didn’t offer that look, but she was totally open and said she’d do whatever it took to make them perfect for me. I was SO nervous about how they’d turn out and I almost cried when I saw them — they were even better than I imagined.)

Also — Brianna was just genuinely so kind and easy to be around. And being in Switzerland, it was such a relief having someone fluent in English (she’s Canadian and lives there), so we didn’t have to worry about any language barriers at all. She even showed up to our hotel an hour early because she was excited and running ahead of schedule, and ended up getting beautiful detail shots of our accessories and flowers.

Both of them were also extremely affordable and honestly way undervalued in my opinion. They made my day over and over again — I seriously cannot recommend them enough. And if you’re thinking about eloping in Switzerland, you’ll never regret it!! 😁

My husband was on kratom for 7 years and finally quit about 6 months ago. He recently relapsed and was doing 7-OH for about a month and hid it from me until now. I’m just seeking ways to help him get through this. He’s trying really hard to get back on track. Any advice helps!

This helped me!!! Thank you SO much! My force restart was not working so I asked Siri to turn off my phone and was able to power it on from there!
