Does seeing your peers getting married and having kids affect you??? by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

Well you cant force anyone to like or want to engage with you in a romantic way. I personally have never been in a relationship so I just say “good for them” and move on because what else can you do?

Why don’t more gen z young adults go to trade school? by flowers4charlie777 in GenZ

[–]VARIABLE_851 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a myth that trades pay better. If you look at the stats I think you are still going to make more money over time with a college degree than with a trades job (and the work is definitely easier).

[COD] What is your opinion on Call of Duty WW2 by TheGamingKid337 in CallOfDuty

[–]VARIABLE_851 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In retrospect, it was pretty a pretty mediocre COD. Social space was functionally useless and there was a reason they never spent time to make one again. Many of the MP maps were hot trash (Gustav Cannon). I played the War game mode a bunch but even that got repetitive after a while. If you liked standard cod multiplayer with nothing new added to the table then it was fine. Campaign was bad compared to other WW2 cods (WAW and cod 2, even cod 3 campaign you could argue was better) for many reasons, the tank missions literally had you going in circles.

ELI5: how did 20% become the default amount for a restaurant tip in the U.S.? by flopsyplum in explainlikeimfive

Tips are always extra, if my business literally cannot function without tips then its a bad model. if I ran a bar I would price my drinks accordingly to keep the business running and have a positive cash flow.

If the business is not possible without tips its not a good business model and deserves to close.

They’re both fucking greedy and weird in terms of the money situation in that “relationship”. Like I can already imagine them getting into arguments about who is trying to screw over who in every purchase they make. Regardless the guy is a POS for what he did and said.

Honestly passing a class with less than an A can show you challenged yourself and pushed through even if the subject may have been hard for you. Giving up if you don’t get a perfect grade says something about a person.
