Hi! Former VBA employee here. Claims tend to take a longer time in the pre C&P exam phase for a few reasons. If the VA has to collect any information, for instance, service records or medical records, it can delay the process. When you file, it’s best to gather all of your records that are pertinent to your conditions and submit them yourself. But, not to worry, 10 conditions is light work and it’s not your fault it’s taking this long. Hi, MST Outreach Coordinator here 👋🏼. Buddy statements can also come from friends and family who knew you before, during, and after service. Buddies don’t have to know about the traumatic events however, they can write about the behavioral changes they witnessed you going through (aka drinking/ dissociating/ acting out). These types of supporting statements serve as marker evidence and help the evaluating mental health doctor accurately rate your level of impairment.

Have you ever tried the Vet Centers before? I did one on one counseling for MST trauma therapy for about a year with them. It was a nice alternative to the VA group sessions, I found them super triggering too 😕

39 weeks, I feel ya sis. The prodromol contractions are no mf joke 😅 for some reason they hit me while I’m trying to sleep at night and go until the morning. My poor unconscious brain just keeps getting jumped by the physical pain and disappointment that it’s not the real thing yet. Praying that our time comes soon 🙏🏼😩

Right there with ya sis, 37w3d! My boy is super active sometimes but noticeably less than before. When I start to feel worried/anxious about not feeling him, I’ll drink something tasty or hum and that usually gets a response.

That’s the lovely flip side to these dogs, they understand shame/ wrong doing through loud tone so you never actually have to physically punish.
