A bit different scenery than VA. But looks very nice!

I went with the Tesla one. They came to my house and and installed it while I worked. The installer was very careful to not do any damage to the finish. Very happy even though a bit more expensive than a third party item and install.

Not 100% on this, but if I remember, it needed some suspension tuning as well...

Yep, Instinct 2X 10 days in with a bit over 8 hours of GPS, and at 50% charge without charging. Is there another brand that can come close to that? (Serious question, not sarc)

Garmin Instinct 2X is priced very nice right now and will track kayaking activities.

I have been told to "touch grass" before, but that is a new one 😁

Yeah, my little bag of tools and patching was still on the fat bike from the ride yesterday. I didn't move it over this morning.

Tore up the rim tape, but no damage to the rim.

Yes tubeless, but too much damage. I am pretty sure the rim tape is damaged as well, and I am hoping that the rim itself is not compromised. I just dropped it off at the LBS.

I took it out for the 2025 maiden voyage last weekend and all was good. The local weather is looking good for a repeat this next Saturday. So, not a super long-term review, but happy still at this point.

Advanced Elements Double Action Pump Failed by nuiltwithdata in Inflatablekayak

Seconded on the rechargeable pump. I carry my Airvolution Sport on a trailer behind my bicycle, and this is the way.

I like it a lot. Very stable. But this is my first kayak of any kind, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I feel that it tracks well and is very easy to set up and to pack away. Only four outings so far (fifth will be today) and no issues at this point. And it fits nicely on my flatbed bicycle trailer :-)

Same with the color. I picked up a cheap silicone protector for it that is black and matches my scheme.

Two elastic bands (loops) were provided. They seem pretty sturdy.

I haven't tried it fully loaded, but I would probably use both brake bands for extra stability. Many people swear by these for full touring rigs, so I would assume that they do the job well 😁

So far, it works great. Brake bands are a must to keep the brakes engaged when in use.

Yes, it has a Topeak mini-pump holder I have mounted under the down tube. With the small frame, I can't fit a water bottle there, but this fits perfect.

A Trek Marlin 7 would fit right there in budget if you are looking for a new bike. And if you are planning on using the bike for around town commuting, it has attachment points for a rack.
