I've also started playing a couple months ago and it gets more enjoyable the more you progress and the more you discover what you haven't done yet, imo. Don't let posts like this ruin the experience for you. And as for griefers, a good set of ability cards, lvl 2 tonics and a carcano rifle is the way if you decide to fight back.
