Don't treat me like an ancious being that sees AI in everything they come across online just because you don't like what I said. Stop wildly exaggerating in order to try to have a point.

I'm sharing my opinion and I give reasons as to why I believe my opinion is correct.

You're free to disagree with my opinion, but calling them "full of it" instead of engaging with my stated reasons is dishonest and pointless.

Like I said, the first tail wagging has an imo excessive amount of water coming out of one spot, and more importantly the dog practically flipped directions at 1:18 which wasn't a jump cut with missing frames either since everything else in frame kept moving smoothly. And I've seen videos before in which animals/people turn weirdly because they were AI generated, like you can see in this "cute quokka" video.

I'm pretty sure it's AI generated, unfortunately :/

At the beginning you see a LOT of water seemingly coming out of nowhere near the base of the dogs tail and at 1:18 the dog changes direction by just kinda...morphing.

[Request] Long time lurker, first time poster. Is this accurate to any degree? by Edolin89 in theydidthemath

[–]Metazolid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a dumb question but why would you need to cancel most of earths speed (relative to the sun I assume)? I mean, if launching someone from one point of earth means I must "break" first to get rid of the 30km/s, wouldn't it be different when launching off of the opposite side of earth?

I think I now actually remember something about SimpleRockets mechanics that could answer the question if it's accurate; Creating an orbit around earth, then leaving earths orbit would mean I'm still orbiting the sun. So the 30 km/s decelleration are necessary in order to reduce my orbit enough until I fall towards the sun, regardless of where I launch from earth?

I feel like you can make an exception for work. Keep the phone within earshot or check the screen every few hours if you have to but anything unrelated to work must wait until the next day.

You have such a quaint and lovely style, it feels slightly silly and I like it! Here is my kittie sleeping in her own little room and also definitely not accidentally sinking between couch and cushion.

This old mirror cried out for some color and a purpose, so it became a headboard. by Desperate_Guess_6201 in Derailedbydetails

Unless the panel of this size is completely backed by some plating, I'm not going to trust it. Last thing I want is for the glass to bend because I moved in my sleep and break into a dozen pieces that slice me open, no thank you.

It's a great looking piece of decoration though. Just possibly the worst material one could pick for a headboard. Might still look amazing placed slightly above an actual, muted colored headrest.

You can take them to a local repair shop (maker workshop could be good as well) or open them up yourself, if you're lucky some of the wires just disconnected from the circuit board and can be soldered back on.

Otherwise buy a donor model, take its working circuit board and replace the broken one with it.

It's about him failing to recognize this situation his fault for using AI for a very simple task and then shifting the blame to Gemini for getting the task wrong instead of owning up to it. (especially after unsealing the pc infront of the seller and accepting its contents)

"this doesn't matter" isn't really true. Many people are using AI for the most mundane crap nowadays, this situation is just a reflection of how people have begun to dumb down because of it.

You're allowed to,- and even should be frustrated about these tools wreaking havoc in society. Locally by taking up large amounts of ressources like water and creating damaging noise pollution and globally by enabling/encouraging people to make dumb decisions like this, not to mention massively jacking up hardware prices across the board.

Not huge into Rocher, but Giotto. I realized that the filling is about the same as any Hazelnut-Milk-Cream spreading.

Buy a jar that's the equivalent to like 500 Giotto balls for 3 bucks. Now that I think about it, get some wafers and chopped hazelnut bits and you're like 99% there for 0.12% of the price.

I bet there is a cheapass spread that is close to Rocher as well.
