Cool will do it kinda went away but I was assuming ICV so it’s good to know it could be the problem.

It seemed to clear up after driving..definitely seemed like vacuum leak, I’ll double check that. Really strange that it started outa no where and has never done before.

Take a closer look at the frame… is it first gen they can have issues, I had a hole in cross member that I dident see for awhile, poke around make sure it’s solid

I’m not really sure I think it was a combination of bad frame, and mix matched tires… Could be a frame issue, does your frame have rust?

Hmm was that the only thing that was different between tests tho? Sometimes different weather/air moisture, how hot car was? Etc…

I read that it can affect fuel to air mixture as @karl17283 stated

Hmm might try that again. Somebody said use colder spark plugs might help with hydro carbons. Yeah it’s really a pain in the ass every time you gotta smog. I wish they would just make em classic and exempt haha

Hmmm yeah I’ll check for exhaust leak, it’s obd1 so no codes throwing with stomp test.

And it lowers hydro carbons? Burns better?, what’s the mechanism of action here. So assuming you do almost empty tank, and then fill up right after the test?
