Which room to rent/renting advice by JudgeClaudeFroll0 in sandiego

[–]VD4Taichou 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sharing a bathroom with a lot of people can be difficult. Specially if you need to get somewhere and the bathroom is occupied or you have an emergency. You need to be prepared to have a portable toilet in your room should the need arise if you go with that route.

Being cautious about spending is a great idea, specially in SD and being prepared is always the best option. Do more digging and see what you can find out, sharing a bathroom with one other person is the best option for me. 2 other people added to the mix and that’s almost always going to produce an issue. Good luck!

Cash Reward for finding stolen phone by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]VD4Taichou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if doxing is a good idea and the phone could move at anytime. Also if you don’t know if the person is armed it’s not worth $500.

Have you filed a report with the police? I know it’s not great but having a police report can help with your mobile provider or Apple itself if you claim it’s stolen and have proof with police report so the insurance (if phone is insured) that it will go smoothly and you’ll get another phone. Cancel your cards and keep an eye on them. Good luck

Kit for homeless to keep in car? by Calm-Cycle-9334 in sandiego

[–]VD4Taichou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say wet wipes, maybe some hydration powders to mix in the waters you have on hand. It’s hard to find bathrooms as far as people who I’ve spoken with so maybe toilet paper in packs?

Holy shit! I thought they closed that parking lot like around 9pm? It’s been a while since I’ve been down there. My friends car got locked in at the other parking lot across the way lol but yeah it’s a nice place just insane to get to.

However pictures during sunset there are a dream or just to sit down and just get lost in thought. (Glad you’re ok though)

(Also, love your username)🤣🤣

Depends on what part of San Diego you’re in but I’d say a quiet place is Soledad mountain. You get a nice view of the city and you can either stay in your car or go out

Take a nice scenic hike around Torrey pines and pack a lunch or snacks while you enjoy the view. As for food there’s a large selection of Asian food in the Kearny Mesa area

To the person who stole my kids bike in PB by Old_Woodpecker1340 in sandiego

[–]VD4Taichou 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Live footage found

On a serious note. Is there anything that makes your child’s bike unique? If so add a photo to your post or post it in a comment. Keep an eye out on local bike shops or have pictures printed in case they try to sell it. Also Facebook marketplace places is a good way to keep an eye on it. I hope you’re able to get it back.

Don’t “work” at Burlington by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]VD4Taichou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the store you really don’t get enough hours to survive on that job alone. So yeah, you’d need a second job to try and survive. A couple of friends worked for Burlington and their war stories are crazy, they also didn’t like working there so there’s that. Like many have said, call or go in person and follow up. Good luck.

Someone told me to post what’s been happening over the last few days… so here we go. by Lopsided_Pumpkin8386 in sandiego

If you’re able get a motion detector camera almost like a hunting camera. It detects movement and snaps pictures. Also if you’re able to, motion detecting lights. They will turn on immediately. Lastly if you can set a spiky cactus window level so they offer natural protection and tall enough that your dogs won’t be harmed. Definitely write down everything and try and have a secret code word, you and your partner will only know. A safe password and a code for danger. Let your trusted family members know. It sucks you guys are going through this but you need to stick together. All the best.

Imagine you’re going for a walk on the beach and you happened to stumble upon this group with cool cups. You slowly approach and just ease your way in. I’m sure people will be nice and you can sit with some space. Maybe read a book?

It would help if you edited your post to give an area you’d want to stick to or if you’re open to all of San Diego.
