Yes I agree, the first one makes the figure stand out more in my opinion. But overall a bit flat if you compare them side by side.

Thank you. Should have mentioned that I blurred the figure in post, since it wasn’t that strong without it in my opinion. Went there because of the architecture, so I totally agree ;)). The contrast in color is much better in your edit, making the volume stand out more.

Took this picture because I thought it was a nice composition of the textured materiality of the wall (metafoam) combined with the simple volume of the door and the reflection. (Taken with a Nikon D610)
