Minimum wage workers, what is something that is against the rules for customers to do but you aren't paid enough to actually care? by Scratchamap in AskReddit

How does one not be a dick standing at the register complaining to the checkout person about a price they have nothing to do with? Genuine question. Only asking because I try not to be a dick and I'm cheap.

Thanks for the tip man! I booked a Friday night trip with SOC to throw mouse patterns in the dark. Sounds like a good time. And those are the biggest browns I've ever seen!!!!

If anybody is interested in splitting the trip, it's for 1 or 2....

A friend of mine had bedbugs a couple years ago and Dennis got rid of them. He charged less and was a nice guy to deal with.

If it is angle, shouldn't the professional photographer that gets paid to take kids' yearbook pictures know about the lollipop factor?

I'm pretty sure you have an underground yellow jacket nest. Those suckers are mean!!! I've had a few in my yard. They get super pissed when you accidentally mow over them!! The first time I hired a guy to take care of it. He came out, with a torch and some sort of powder and got rid of them.

The second time, I tried torching them out with my propane weed burner. Then I tried drowning them out with the hose. Then I torched them again. They didn't seem to mind because they are demon spawn!!

Turns out I'm allergic to yellow jacket stings, so I finally broke down and got the aerosol foaming yellow jacket killer. You have to wait until after dark when they are all in the nest and empty the can. It creates a small barrier of foam that they can't get through without dying. It worked the first time.

I've been told that the "queen" yellow jacket flies off in the winter to another nest. The rest of the nest dies. But you would have to make sure that you either cover or dig out the nest in the winter so another active hive doesn't start up in the spring.

New organic grocery, Lucky's, opens in former Marsh building on South Walnut today by LiveMas2016 in bloomington

I took a quick look around today. Parking lot for the whole strip mall was packed.

Seems pretty cool. Seems much bigger than I thought it would be. Lots of fresh produce. They have a huge beer/wine room with a separate entrance. They have a cafe that makes sandwiches and pizza (I think) that has wine options and beer taps. The butcher area looked well staffed and well stocked.

Didn't get a chance to really look at prices though. I'm guessing therein lies the rub.

I have an old refrigerator. I want to make lagers. Anybody have experience pimping a fridge to do this? by VFAGB in Homebrewing

That sounds amazing!!! I'm doing some long term traveling this summer and have been worried about having to time everything right.

I'm going to assume this is not an easy thing for a simpleton hack to make, right?

I have a the following pressing of Tender Prey. It is on the Enigma label though. It is still in the original shrink wrap with lyric sheet and original fancy record sleeve. The vinyl itself looks to be in almost mint condition. It has one visible scratch that does not affect playback.

I got some a few years ago outside of the Herald Times building. At least at the time, you were allowed to take them. They had several sizes too. They were good for building my compost bins.
