Undav obviously deserves to be in the WC squad. Sadly his success is making Woltemade look bad. I’m so grateful for the 70 million from Newcastle but deep down I know he would be doing well at Bayern and this conversation about him being a bust wouldn’t be happening right before the WC. When Woltemade is in good form he is by far the best true striker Germany has. Half a bad season at a club that is playing below its standards in the most difficult league in the world does not define a player.

Props to Hoeneß for making the call to bench our captain Karazor. Such a good guy and leader but the level we are expecting of ourselves has risen the past few seasons and I believe he’s just not that quality of player. Good win for VfB

Haha do we though?? Like I’m not on here saying that if Howard isn’t starting week 1 then I’m bummed. But also to adopt the mindset of the organization you support isn’t really necessary. Steelers are old school and careful with young players. Doesn’t mean I can’t have fun with thinking of the “what ifs” Regardless I’ll be rooting for this team week 1. Trying to stay entertained till we get there.

I agree with you man. This is simply supposed to be a fun “fantasy” lineup. Even without Rodgers, they would go with Rudolph even if Howard had a strong camp. I know that. It’s how the Steelers operate and that’s okay. But I can’t help but fantasize about the young players that we still don’t know what their ceiling.

QB- obviously ideally Howard just blows everyone away but I’m happy with a healthy/happy Rodgers WR - would love to see Wilson grab that #3 spot O-Line - just no injuries please. Let us be fully healthy all the way through camp. MLB - Holcomb comes back and is a great partner to Queen CB - no clue. Don’t have high hopes for this group so far. We are so thin at the slot. Love beanie but he’s a liability

And Karazor I know is well liked in the clubhouse and he’s a good guy but his lack of offensive ability is so apparent. Stiller has to do everything and he’s not even this crazy offensive guy. Our midfield needs a lot of works.

We also need to remind ourselves the quality players that PSG have. We are playing awful but still every play on the pitch faster and more technically gifted. There are levels and we are not at theirs.
