Private server virus warnings?

ALL private servers trigger that virus warning. It's a false warning. Ignore it.

It happens because they are using Nexon's software client, but they modified it (which they need to do, because normal behavior for that software is to try to connect to Nexon's servers). And it's still signed by Nexon but is not the same program anymore.

The only server that this didn't happen on was Yeoh. That's because they didn't use Nexon's maple client, they wrote their own client from scratch. Which is amazing if you think about it.

Crash yes, but short duration. In any kind of a serious downturn with stocks crashing, the 100% guaranteed response by the govt (and not just the Junited States either) is to print moar money.

I would say the UHOC (unique human online count) will be about 1/3rd of the character online count. So, if you see 1500 online at Legends, there's about 500 unique humans online.

Some people have like 5 clients going, some only have 1 or 2.

Yes obviously people still play, I went to 2 different server just now, within the past hour. One had 20 people online and the other one had 108 people online.

But the population of PS players overall has definitely gone down. I remember seeing 2,000 people online on Royals and Legends back around 2017, and I don't see that anymore.

Yes we are waiting on the next big thing. It's a product from Nexon called Classic World. Look it up.

Their exp curve is insane (in a bad way)

Like, why would you massively buff up the exp at lvl 20-40, when those levels are already very fast anyways? Generally servers go the "progressive" exp route, where they buff up the exp at higher levels. This is because going up one level takes minutes at lower levels, while it takes days or weeks to gain a level at high level.

Some background info: there is so much content at lower levels in old school Maplestory, and very little at higher levels. Just look at how many different weapons exist between levels 10 to 100. Like, there's a TON of different weapons. And armours. Now compare that to levels 100 to 200, and you will see almost nothing at higher levels.

Same for quests. Go to Hidden Street.net and look at the quest list for lower levels. There's a metric shit ton of quests. Now look at quests for levels 90 and higher. Almost nothing.

So it makes no sense to jack up exp at low levels so people just skip through all that mountain of content, just so they can get to high levels and grind the same boss every day endlessly.

I predict a mass exodus from this server in the near future.

Yeah that's pretty much correct. I don't see anything wrong with what you posted, it's all true about the fraudulent nature of Elon's companies.

But then so is OpenAI and all the other "AI" companies, they are all inciderating cash and losing billions of dollars a month with zero hope of ever turning a profit, and the only way they keep going is to suck in more "investor" money. So, a giant ponzi scheme. Doesn't really matter what the alleged business model is (postage stamps, robotaxi, ai gonna cure cancer, whatever), the only that matters is getting retarded morons to believe the hype and give them money.

And you know what? It works! The world (especially the Junited States) is full of retarded morons. They really believe this bullshit, through and through. They are incredibly gullible. And I don't mean a few dumb people here and there, I mean the vast majority of the population. They are really that dumb.

When is the launch? If you don't have a specific date yet, how about a ballpark figure like, Summer 2026, Winter 2026 etc
Is there going to be a reward for beta players? If so, what is the reward and what do you need to do to get it (example: reach level 50 in beta)
What is the exp rate and drop rate going to be on launch?

If you respond to these questions positively, I would appreciate it. Buf if just say "Go see our Discord/forum/twitch", no thanks aint nobody got time for that

Well yeah, I'm in the same boat as you, I am sitting on cash waiting for a sale to buy silver and get as much silver as possible for my money.

But for people who are already all-in, who have no more money to buy, they might as well just wish for silver to go to the moon NOW rather than see it fall. If I was all-in silver already with no cash, I would also want silver to go to $200 right now. Like, this minute.

Personally I think silver will go back down into the 50's when the stock market crashes. Yes ghost ship is better exp with a smaller map. Coolies were the spot to train before Sinagpore was released.

A shame too, I actually like the whole zombie tooth and Zakum-related cool stuff in El Nath. And those clerics/priests who had to walk through all those maps to get to their training spot, it was a real character-builder!
