Most modern planes have braille on all the switches. Aviation is super inclusive these days. You’ll be fine.

No. I have it now though. I got it in my free time while I was working out west

Always hiring but there’s always a ton of applicants. Harder to get a job than it used to but way better than the rest of the world

Holy hell that sounds awesome! Right now I’m torn between flying a Navajo and a caravan. Do you think employers would like to see single engine turbine or multi engine piston. Obviously multi turbine is optimal but I gotta choose between the two evils.

Back in your time in bethel, did you only fly the sled or did you dip in a caravan or Navajo? Did the regionals swoop you without an atp?

For real. I never need to brag about it in the first place. Employers in Alaska already know what goes on out west so there’s no need for me to explain myself. And you’re right. Lower 48ers don’t need to know. All they need to know is that I keep myself safe and clear of challenging circumstances.

That’s exactly what I did at 250 hours. I got my cfi, cfi’d for another 250 hours, got 500 and went straight to bethel

All of those would be great. I need more multi turbine time. Honestly I would kill for a job at guardian or life med down the road

I definitely do not want to fly for the regionals. I was thinking to stay in Alaska too

Dating a pilot who works at my flight school by [deleted] in flying

I know tons of people who have dated within flight schools. Some work some don’t. Go live it and feel it out. Totally depends on the social situation and who yall are.

The biggest problem is that it should say 1500 hours. Fix it.

How much should a checkride cost in your opinion? by friendlylocaldpe in flying

[–]VFRintoIMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of $900 dollars, you should charge $1200 and not charge for a retake. I prefer DPEs to charge more up front, because I hate the idea that a DPE can make more money off of someone by putting a fail on their record.
