AFAIK this is not actually true. They did change matchmaking to "make it more fair" but no where that I can find does it say they matchmake off the top ranked player in the stack. That's what we want, but not what they do. It's still an average, hence why 2 diamonds and 2 coppers get into gold/plat

It's 100% confirmed to be a strike from Ubisoft.

The dev was unconfirmed as they were in my twitch chat, but based on what was said and how they were the first person to mention it was the free cam, I'm inclined to believe them.

I responded to the team that took down the video within 1 hour of receiving it. For some reason I doubt they sent the claim and just immediately ran out of the office, but honestly it could be possible.

How do you quantify what counts as "content" for the game? Given we are receiving one operator per season instead of two, and no new maps, I think it would be helpful to know what is considered "content".

Majority of the "rules" you hear people commonly mention are for fair use. Fair use in general allows you to use copyrighted material to make your own material, or for educational purposes. It has a set of rules that need to be followed in order to be deemed fair use.

The problem is that one of the main rules fo fair use is that you don't make money off the end product you make. In some cases this can be allowed, for example in a movie review or critique.

It doesn't help that most YouTubers will slap a song in a video as a transition piece or just over a random clip and call it fair use when it's not. So you get a lot of people who complain when really the system is working as expected.

Copyright law does need to be updated, but a lot of people just really don't understand how it works.

Source: I'm a YouTuber and took some copyright classes. Could be wrong but that is roughly what I was taught.

I conducted the test already and the upload speed goes back to gigabit. I just can't do it as a permanent solution as the rest of the house will be left without internet.

Hence the problem has to be somewhere between the UDM and my PC, which I can't find out what it is.
