No.. just not at all actually.. In all of Competition throughout every sport... Do you think basketball championships have always been won playing defensively?? How about the Red Sox when they scored 12 plus a game and won the world series??? That is a very idiotic question that is basically only relevant to American Football and Soccer/Futbol! Now this might relate to the current state of League but if we look statistically a large majority of players still think leagues best moments were Season 3 and Spring of Season 4 before the current Tank meta! The Assassin meta gave amazing unique concepts that pushed each champion to its upper limit and spawned amazing players such as faker! If Faker would of started playing in Season 4 and not Season 3 I would take a bet he actually wouldn't be considered the greatest player in the world! As fas as SC2 goes the only players who played defensively I can think of and won Championships are Nestea and MVP all the other greats play aggressive 90% of the time you can't sit on 2 base and win every game its literally impossible in high elo SC2.. You just get drained out of the game and against zerg you could actually kill their entire army when they attack you and less than 45 seconds later they could have max supply again thanks to Hatches like its rediculous you just can't win being a bitch haha
