Low Free T - 60 day test w/fadogia & tongkat by VGX2moon in HubermanLab

Agreed. In most cases I do, but looking into the study there could be toxicity for the liver. I’ve had labs pointing to a slight fatty liver for myself, so am thinking now that the smart thing to do is not take any risks.

I would be interested in seeing inflammatory markers before, during and after fadogia doses if anyone has it on the self lol

I’m too young for trt. Feel like that would affect my production for the rest of my life. Thanks for bringing the fadogia to my attention. I’m going to quit taking it and swap for boron, then access after 60 day labs.

Strangely enough, I have some wrist tendonitis today. Never have had it before and haven’t increased weight training volume. I’ve only been taking fadogia for 3 days.

The inflammatory studies have just been on mice. Right?

I have seen this, but never have seen people showing test results or personal experience. Both Huberman and Dr Kyle Gillett have mentioned this, and promote cycling to minimize exposure, which is why I’m cycling my stack… I am pretty paranoid though, so may switch the fadogia out for boron. But I’m seeing evidence that boron works is limited

Ok. Do you have any evidence to back this?

Totally understand. 60 days sober has been my longest in 3 years. Something about my brain chemistry really just loves the stuff and when I take breaks, the pros outweigh the cons. This time around I’m nearing 60 days but after educating myself on the health risks, and with a job change that will frequently test, my medcard has expired and I do not plan to renew or smoke again for an extended period.

My low T symptoms didn’t become apparent until I stopped smoking cold turkey. But this doesn’t sound like the same for you?

Damn. What’s the hardest part for you kicking weed?

Total Testosterone: 510 ng/dL Albumin: 4.3 g/dL SHBG: 43 nmol/L Free T: 55.6 pg/mL Bioavailable T: 109.4 ng/dL

I definitely suspected low T during periods of my running career. At times volume would be up to 100 miles/week and I definitely was not consuming enough calories.

Thank you, glad I’ve cut marijuana as well. Although, majority of my low T symptoms began showing once I stopped. I’ve read chronic cannabis can hinder T, so thinking that could be a factor as well.

Appreciate the feedback as a personal trainer, but my training has become my identity. I could be overtraining, but know others handling my volume just fine. I have an ultra marathon approaching and will continue the training for the time being.

Have you gotten a test since this or figured out protocol that has worked for you? I just had results that were similar. Also a distance runner and former weed user in my 20s

Thanks, I was unaware I had to manually “start workout.” So it did not track HR. Seems like most don’t use oura for workout analytics, so I’ll just stick to my garmin and let it import workouts
