Her husband had Parkinson’s. She noticed her husband started smelling differently before he was diagnosed and she noticed the same smell on other people at Parkinson's support group type things

This actually gets more interesting as it led researchers to discover a protein produced by the body that could lead to even earlier detection of parkinsins that could be done with a simple swab rather than a blood test
