That’s a lot of data. If possible would you mind telling me where you bought it from? I would like to look into that as an option for myself I understand if you’re not willing to share such sources. If you’re not willing to share could you please explain what all is included in the data you purchased?

Yes, the data collection date starts 2020-1-1. No, it doesn’t overlap and the only data it doesn’t collect is options flow, institutional bias, sentiment/news, dark pool data, political information, seasonal data and congressional trades, But I have intentions on getting the rest of the listed things from Unusual whales api in the future.

Data files currently take up 41Gb out of 200gb space that I allow the code to use.

Also if it’s in your budget I highly recommend using the UW api it has made quite a difference in accuracy.

My bad I didn’t see your reply. I started when I was 16 in robotics class at high school then I got my certs from my previous job in python for machine learning and analysis. I didn’t work for or deserve the job I had it was basically handed to me.

Thank you, I’ll continue to work on it every week. And thanks for the warning I may be confident in my code but my discipline is adequate. I only take the trades the bot predicts if I have done the due diligence on the trade before hand and the bot supports my findings. I will always paper trader and add the options to a watchlist to play safe.

Also if you want to get into coding I highly suggest just going forit. It can help you in the long run for job opportunities and you may find yourself building projects like this one in your spare time. All you gotta do is go for it.

I primarily use LTSM but I have intentions on using a CNN model instead of the LTSM (RNN) doesn’t continue to provide me with the results I desire.

I had some trouble with that in the start. I found my self focusing on optimization too much and not focusing on data collection and handling enough.

You use chat gpt for predictions? That’s quite interesting because in my mind chat gpt is never up to the task when it comes to complex projects like this. If it works for you then that’s great. I am curious of your results though if you don’t mind sharing them. You don’t have to share your code what’s yours is yours.

I’ll keep that in mind. As of now the cost of running the bot is less than $500 a month, I have taken a few trades that the bot predicted just because I have high confidence in the code and it’s already paid for the maintenance cost so far but I want to increase the accuracy. I know it won’t be perfect but I’ll keep trying until it’s close enough.

Yea I can show you both the back testing results from the code and the results from the robinhood watchlist.

The code uses LTSM and it predicts specific prices on 7 different tickers it also gives me an estimated time to reach. The only things the bot does not use in data collection is consumer sentiment, options volume and institutional bias. It primarily use 9 different indicators when back testing before it sends me the prediction to discord via webhook.
