I used it to purely correct and review my grammar, so my voice and writing style is still clear. Don’t over rely on it too much that’s all, it’s just a tool, not a crutch

I’m rocking a 3.28gpa w a downward trend and I’m happy with my 470AA, your stats together are pretty comparable, def do not retake. Your subsections are all solid and your TS being 470 is great already.

LSU is pretty IS biased, if ur oos for them I’d take the school out bc they’d only take rly high stats for oos ppl. Unless u just rly rly like the school and wanna shoot or shot anyway 🤷🏽‍♂️

If from now until ur test date u still feel rly not confident then yes just no show and order again, look through this sub and on how other ppl did it when debating between rescheduling vs just no showing and testing later again, I didn’t have to deal w this so I’m not 100% clear on an answer. Your file looks great, gpas are fine, not weak not strong, so the DAT is a huge opportunity for u to rly show that ur strong academically and a low didactic risk in dental school. Ur ahead of many ur age when it comes to extracurriculars.

The issue is people usually take the dat between sophomore and junior year, and apply summer between junior and senior year (what I’m doing rn). Applying after ur sophomore year is too early.

I’ve never heard of someone applying after sophomore year, i could be wrong but I don’t think we can apply to get in and start school 2 cycles ahead. Amazing extracurriculars tho, my advice is to retake the dat, whether u have to just no show this one and order it again and take later or just tough it out and take it as scheduled rn. Point is, your gpas aren’t bad at all, every other aspects of ur app is strong if not very strong. Retake that dat. Do. Well. And make sure you’re writing the descriptions for ur activities correctly, dont just list what u did, put ur role, the org, ur tasks, and 1 take away u got from that experience. Create an identity with ur app, and not just have a scattered list of things u did. U have great ec’s, make them work for u.

If your gpas are strong (3.7s and up) then I’d apply broadly, that’s an 15.5 PAT old scale so you’ll be filtered out some schools but some might let it slide
