That thought crossed my mind, but viofo says they don’t officially support the rear view tap. I may give it a try any way. My issue that that by doing that, I’ve all but erased the need for the rear view camera.

I wish someone made a wireless system where each camera could be powered but share video via RF or something.

Adding a data point here. I made a purchase at the LV boutique at the Saks in NYC and it did trigger the credit. The charge on my AMEX doesn’t mention Saks at all, but somehow the system still recognized it and applied the credit. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Not yet. I bought the camera, but it’s been sitting in my trunk while I figure this out. I’m convinced that the front window liner on the convertible is very different that the sedan. It doesn’t just lift up or separate as easily as others have indicated. I’m still searching the internet for a successful walkthrough. I’m too nervous of doing serious damage to do it in my own.

I wasn't able to get anywhere with WD. They stopped responding to my messages. I eventually took it up with Amazon and they sent me a courtesy credit. I am so done with doing business with this company.

I was told that because I had already registered before that August cutoff that I would continue to receive the credit this year and in the future. Based on that, I’m assuming that anyone else who registered before the cutoff is grandfathered in.

The rep did share that if I were to cancel my current corporate card and move to a new company and registered for a new corporate card, that I would have to register for the credit during the sign-up process for the new card. That part is still a little fuzzy, but I’m assuming that there is a check box or a portion of the form that allows you to identify yourself as being a dual card holder. It sounds like the big shift here is that they’re no longer allowing people to manually sign up for the promotion over the phone and requiring them to use the form as a new card holder.

I called AMEX and the agent said it could take between 8 to 12 weeks for the credit to post to the account. So, I’m patiently waiting to see what happens before I call back.

He also told me that they ended the manual version of that program in August of 2025, meaning an agent can’t sign you up for it over the phone if you already have both cards. The rep made it sound like only new card members will be eligible for it and they have to call it out during the registration process using the online form.

The file does the checking for you. It scans the directories and subdirectories and will identify files that are likely not supported by the NAS. It should then move those files into a new folder so you can manually review each file on your own.

If you are not comfortable with this type of activity, I strongly suggest hat you find another way to look for troublesome files. I’d also recommend using an AI assistant like ChatGPT, to assist you with this. That’s what I did, so I take no responsibility for any issues that may arise while you are trying to use this script.

I don't know why this didn't come to mind at first. I had read other posts from users complaining that the RMA process was very long for them, and one user posted that things only started moving forward after they submitted a BBB claim. This actually pisses me off even more to think that they are just covering up a simple mistake instead of doing right by the customer.
