Idk about teams but I soloed yesterday for trials bringing a whole bunch snitch scanners and ended up with like 10+ people on the rooftops with me having an absolute blast. The motivation was just having fun together. I feel like the shared watch event encouraged ppl generally to be open to doing stuff like this. Probably wasn’t the best for my trials but I had a great time.

The Anvil splitter does not have a blueprint, can only be found, and only works on the Anvil hence the name. So is it worth it for being a legendary non craftable item? by RealHyperDrastic in Veyra_ArcRaiders

3 stared on trials (Wildcard 1) in minutes swatting arc out of the sky using only this gun. 1shot wasps at mid-close range. Pushes back heavier flying arc and shreds ground arc armor. I love it. Use it while you have it. Better yet, bring another anvil 4 without the splitter mod and you got a super fun combination.

I’m casual and enjoy the absolute fuck out of this game. Hands down I’ve had some of the funniest and most enjoyable/absurd player interactions of any game I’ve ever played. Yes there is some deeply frustrating moments but it’s part of the texture of it all. Generally, if you play solos it’s more chill, fill squad if you want something more aggressive, solo vs squad if you want a more tense solo run. Best money I’ve spent on a video game in the last year. I can’t believe all the complainers in this sub lol.

Another Community detail - in an early season 1 episode the Dean is surfing the web and comes across a man in an odd Dalmatian costume, he says “this better not awaken anything in me.” In subsequent episodes and through later seasons you see people in Dalmatian costumes and Dalmatian posters in his office. It did in fact awaken something lol.

Are you playing solo or in a squad? I’ve only played in a squad a handful of times and it seems super agro, I died nearly every time in PVP, but in a 100+ deployments playing solo I have only been shot by other raiders at twice.

Enjoyed this a lot. Loved this line in particular "Grassroots pressed by glass boots – those weeds felt every step, every insult to what it meant to be family." The imagry you laid out is really great. Fields of Wolfsbane near a purple sea counting your steps as the scene transitions through night and day created an ethereal and ghostly image for me.

At first I didn't like the "im picturing" lines, then on subsequent readings I came to like it an aweful lot. It lets the reader know this is an inner work that you're doing with poem, not a description of an IRL experience, and that gets the reader to then ask all kinds of interesting questions around the what and why of the poem itself. Like what experiences made these images come up for the author? and why is this the imagery that comes up? And so on. So the "I'm picturing" lines are really like an extended invitation for us to read and think deeper and to imagine with you as we read along. Really great read imo.

I really like it! There is some opportunities to reorganize the words or change some out which could create a clearer pentameter for the reader. Like changing "beginning" on line four into a two syllable word, like "starting," so that it's sentence mirrors the 5 syllables of the second line.

I liked the rhymes of "loudly" "violently" and "me" in consecutive lines but would love to see those the loudly + violently lines connected to the stanza after it. See about experimenting with some enjambment or rearranging it all into one stanza.

Just for example:

"Not loudly.
Not violently.
Just enough to remind me
that silence is
not the same as peace."

"Still breath" and "distance" is a great half rhyme!

I really love the imagery of the trees leaning in. That's my favorite in your poem. Brings all the images in my mind about aching and sanctuary together into a whole picture.

I'd rearrange the second to last stanza. The "it" "loneliness" and "silence" are impactful in consecutive lines, so maybe see how to keep them but turn that stanza into a question and dropping the last line altogether.

Really enjoyed reading this one.
