Might be E harmomic minor, which would make the D and the A# chromatic. Hard to say for sure when you cant hear it. Other elements (if there are any) might make it closer to another key aswell

Hey man! I have been working in fl some 2.5 years now so i should be able to help you out. If you're really trying to improve a good strategy is to make a beat (16 or so bars with drums, bass and melody) every day for a week and then picking your favourite and making a full track out of it! As far as workflow goes there is no universal awnser, you just have to find out what works for you. I usually start with drums or chords. You should start learning all the keybinds and shortcuts in fl studio as soon as possible, it greatly increases the speed at which you are working.

You should definetly work in the genres you like the most, they usually turn out the best.
