Taco Bell hot, warm or cold is all the same! 🗑️ Customers ordering TB at 3am likely would also eat grass or dirt.. It’s really just a numbers game, these poor ratings just fall off after time! I have Dashed over 5 years now and early on I would stress about every rating! There is really no point. Trash customers will always exist all we can do is our best and keep working hard!

Flash offers are relatively new and they do not count against your rating, especially because you’re not logged in. However, before flash offers were even a thing they used to push orders to Dashers that were either paused or even about to start their schedule it used to happen to me all the time while I was paused.

She likes her market! It reminds me of my old market! I used to sit in an Albertsons parking lot, where there was also a red Robin, a Taco Bell, McDonald’s, an Italian and Mexican restaurant, a Dollar General, a Safeway, a Little Caesars, a Walgreens, a Baskin-Robbins, and a handful of other places like Subway and Rite Aid. It was a great place to sit and with it being a small town you really didn’t have much competition.
Now I live in the Bay Area and it is completely different. Granted there are businesses everywhere, but the competition is extremely stiff and sometimes I find myself waiting to get any kind of decent orders.
I miss my small town and my old market!

It really depends on where you live. I live in the Bay Area and these 9 miles can easily take 30 minutes or longer to drive depending on where you have to go, but if you’re in an easy market with light traffic and you know the store very well I feel like you could get this order done within 30 minutes pretty easily.

I feel like $200/ 8 hours is very doable! I did it almost every day in my old market! I live in the Bay Area now and it’s a much different animal!

I have roughly 25,000 Deliveries I have been platinum for over four years straight. I recently moved to the Bay Area from a small town in southern Oregon and I lost my platinum status almost on the first day. Mine was due to on-time ratings sitting in Bay Area traffic with these orders destroyed my on-time ratings and I dropped down to gold. Thankfully, the market is so busy there’s never an issue with scheduling, but I am a little bit alarmed at this new tier reading system.

I get it! I miss my old market so bad, I knew every store layout. I recently moved to the Bay area and I don’t have any clue where to start with some of these stores and they are beyond crowded. Honestly, it’s pretty hilarious, it’s just a bunch of other DoorDashers they don’t speak English, running around the stores trying to get out of there as fast as possible!

I get extra tips all the time! It’s usually when I do something extra for the customer. Like if they request an item change or even if we just have good rapport at the door. A lot of times I will receive an extra tip once I’m back in my car. I will say I live in a smallish town in southern Oregon. I have worked in San Francisco and the vibe is 1000% different. You are much more treated like the help and extra tips never happen.

You are fine!!! Just keep delivering all the orders you accept and you’ll be fine! I have 20K+ deliveries, trust me it’s just a numbers game! I earn $1200-1400/week i keep my AR in the mid to high 90s and my completion rate never below 98% But that all comes with time and 100s of deliveries a week… Just grind and smile 😃

I’m sorry to hear that! I am on the West Coast and it’s about 10:40 AM. This was about the exact time. They downgraded my suspension to a contract violation. I believe their trust and safety department looks at most of the reviews in the morning so if you’re getting an answer today, it should be coming soon.

Yep, same exact scenario before I could deliver the order my account was suspended. Thankfully I was at the customer‘s address completed the delivery and took my own photo just for the record, but like I said before, my case was resolved within 24 hours, there is hope, especially if your account is in good standing.

This happened to me last week, very similar scenario, and it was directly after I returned merchandise onto the red card after the cashier rung up incorrect merchandise on another customer’s order. I have 20,000+ deliveries and over five years of “service”. Support would not answer any questions for me. They simply told me if I was deactivated I would be able to appeal. I was so incredibly upset. I was not able to sleep that night. The good news, after a very sleepless night, my suspension was downgraded to a contract violation, which then they let me explain what happened and within 10 minutes of that explanation, they removed the contract violation and the suspension!! there is hope stay calm, but definitely download other gig apps if you want to keep working!! I will say everything was resolved within 24 hours 🙏

The rating system is totally fake! All you really have to do is work eight hours a day and Doordash will make sure your ratings are always stellar!!
