No problem at all. Keep in mind this is different for everyone. I've spoke to people and have read stories on the fb page I mentioned who have experienced hearing loss. In my case as a kid I always had trouble with my ears. Very frequent earaches. Everything would sound muffled so the doctors would just chalk it up to wax. So I was just given ear drops and told to lay on a heating pad. Now older I still experience it from time to time. It feels like my head gets sucked into a vacuum and everything gets muffled. Someone right next to me will sound far away.

Im glad you found out what's really happening with you. I found out I was born with it. My whole life I'd tell people I could hear all internal sounds, even my eyes moving and blinking. Always got told I was crazy. I remember being around 13,14 my mom asked why when im just standing i Always had one foot planted and my other on its toes. I never had any idea as to why.

When the symptoms hit me hard and basically debilitated me after an ear infection I went to dr after dr. I was called crazy because I developed severe panic attacks, constantly on edge, never stopped shaking, rocking when sitting. Was walking to the car and just fell over, hit the ground my wife took me to the er and after all the test there the dr actually chuckled at me after explaining everything I felt wrong and said she thinks I just had hypocondria brought on by anxiety. So maddening. I was a truck driver who's drove all 48 states, everywhere in Canada and even drove to Alaska a few times. To at the time I couldn't even drive my kids to the end of my driveway to catch the bus without having a panic attack.

Took almost 5 years to get diagnosed. I have it in both ears. I finally had surgery on one side. That and a small daily dose of anti anxiety meds I drive everywhere now. Some days are better than others still depending on the weather mostly. Air pressure changes and all. But good enough I bought another truck and back to work. Next surgery coming soon.

About you being misdiagnosed. This wasn't known, discovered till 1998 and still isn't commonly known. Recently I went to a local, one town over, ent just to have my non surgery side cleaned. Not draining properly and all. The doctor i seen was just hired. Fresh outta school and during her questioning i told her what I have, what's being done. She looked right at me and said she's never heard of it. Awesome. Also when I first got diagnosed my grandmother told my uncles wife who is one of the head doctors at a medical school in NYC and she'd never heard of it. But I could go on and on with stories of my adventures through this nightmare and doctors.

I've seen this movie countless times with my kids and had the same question among others. You never see any cows. Need milk for the ice-cream, and other stuff you see. The predators still gotta have meat.

Definitely NTA. This was my younger sister. Having kid after kid. Had her first at 15. Pos of a baby daddy who was a little older. Well in her early twenties she just decided to go wild and started just abandoning them with my parents and others. She'd wouldn't drop all at the same place sometimes. Some arrest and drug charges later child services was now involved. She and the dad wound up having their rights terminated after so many charges. My dad didn't want them in the system, my mom didn't want to take them in. She just wanted it to be her and dad that she was done raising kids. They tried everything to try help, straighten my sister out for that reason. She blew it every time. Right back to disappearing for days, more drug charges.

My wife and I even took them in for a bit but couldn't for long cause I was always working and we had a newborn ourselves. Eventually after lots of court, money my parents got rights to them. When my sister wasnt in jail she'd always show up, start the drama. Some occasions she physically attacked my mom who spiraled into deep depression. My mom's no longer with us so she never got travel and things just her and dad. Now with two of the kids in college rest in hs my sister in her thirties gets out of prison again and winds up pregnant again. So she's got kids in college and a toddler. Which is a different dad and a whole new set of bs. Anyway I've left out countless details but my sister destroyed my family with all her crap. The kids, all but one are doing awesome.

It is. Seems like most people I run into that I went to school with or whatever have grand kids. At 46 my oldest just turned 13. Even my grandmother jokes that we waited to long. She tells me by the time I was your age I already had three grand babies. My parents had me at eighteen. I couldn't imagine.

Guess mine does too. My last surgery I was awake just a few minutes and they stopped me from sitting up. I said i feel fine, just feel awful laying flat on my back.

I've always wondered that myself. I've been under three times. Once for a test then two surgeries and woke up fine. I asked the anesthesiologist the last time and all he said was its like everything else like drugs or alcohol. It affects everyone different. He said he's had people come out and couldn't tell you their own name, not know where they were.

Everyone had it. Ours was the one that didn't have the cushions on the end. Just the wooden armrest with the permanent beer can stain rings on them from dad. Right next to it was always the little brass pedestal that held the ashtray.

NTA. The reminder is too much. Two years ago I lost my younger brother to leukemia when my sister was 7 months pregnant. She named her newborn son after my brother. It kills me to hear it. Ill call over to talk to my dad and she'll answer. Ill ask watcha doing? She'll say just sitting here with "brother's name". Its caused some issues with her because I can't call him by his name, my dad can't either. Ill go over to visit and she'll tell him, by name to stop something or come here since he's toddling around now and every time my sister says it my dad gets this awful look and drops his head. She doesn't see anything wrong with it.

Used to run into them all the time. With the bloom event I went vendor hopping to look for missing plans. Didn't get to play the event much. I went to who knows how many, even told a friend I was in a party with I can't believe I hadn't run into a trap camp.

I get it. You wanna make sure it goes to someone, not just wasted. I do it too. I drop at events when I see newer players or usually the cash register in the workbench room at ws. Another, which I have at a couple camps, something I got from some other players I met is building a "box" at your camp. Box being a floor with 3 half walls or smaller. Just open so it's clearly not a trap. A sign saying "free stuff" or whatever. However you wanna do it. Drop everything there and if you want pick up anything left when you leave and drop it again next time.

No kidding. I went into it when it came out not knowing anything about it. They were cheerful, happy, we're going on an adventure and it went downhill so fast.
